Lord Mantis turn us into babies. What do I mean exactly? Babies are the only form of human quite content to roll around in its own shit (or other people's, or animal's, it makes no difference to a baby). As we get older we gain instinctive defenses against anything that might contain disease. We recoil at the site of waste, we are repulsed by the smell of decay, we strive futilely to keep ourselves clean from infection, yet, the draw we feel to bands such as this is almost insatiable and when you consider the fact Lord Mantis are like an out of control, shit-filled machine, churning out lumps of foetid, rotting excrement for no real good reason then we become somewhat paradoxical in our desires. We become babies.
Naah, that shirt looks way better than Lord mantis' cover art.
On the whole it is a better design for sure. Makes me think the artist lacks variety though. I would have thought limbless religious individuals being raped by tentacles/tongues is something you'd do just the once.

I think Freud would have a field day had he seen this guy's artwork

Are you implying that black metal is never incredibly hammering?
At the very least you have to admit it's pretty chainsawing.

Search for Justin Bartlett. I don't think he lacks so much variety.
Heh, now I know who is responsable for my kick ass Kvelertak owl-tshirt.
Both psychedelic and sludgy and blackened and catchy and groovy and... dirty. Great album for those interested in music with at least some of those characteristics.
