Additional info
Opus Diaboli is the commemoration of Watain's 13 year Anniversary.
Directed by Johan Bääth and Watain.
Produced by Watain and Johan Bääth in association with Chimney Pot and Masters of Audio.
Two versions will be made available; one regular DVD that apart from the DVD will also contain two bonus CDs including the audio recording of the full 13 Year Anniversary concert in Stockholm.
The second version of Opus Diaboli will be a limited vinyl box including the DVD, 2 audio CDs with the live recording, 2 LPs with the live recording, and last but definitely not least a historical photobook containing old flyers and never seen photos, most of them taken off stage. |

I never saw the appeal in dvds... specially about recording a show live (behind the scenes-stuff can be fun sometimes).
But considering it's one of the most interesting live bands from a visual perspective... I might grab a copy.

Yeah, I knew that. Too bad. At least the whole show is on the CD:s.

Okay, so, you knew, then you won't be disappointed by that fact. I would have prefered the entire show to be on the dvd instead of the ramblings about stuff I am totally not interested in. It's the music that does it for me not their so-called beliefs.

I didn't know and I hate the fact that it is that way.
I expected at least one whole live show!
What dumbass would make a DVD without a show? That's like a CD without sound!

Yeah, I'm with you. Even though I am interested in their philosophies and love reading about them and listening to what they have to say, I'd much rather have the whole show on DVD. No doubt.

They could have their little "philosophy moment" on another DVD or even in a book... So there's material for those who give (or not) a fuck about it. To me, they are not that different from other satanic black metal bands. They just have prettiers words maybe... Or maybe it's just me who's out of touch with all that thing and simply likes the music, that must be it.
