18:57 - drf1223 I liked the new DT album, it is no masterpiece by any means, but it is catchy and accessible. And the eletronics feel a lot less "tackled on".

And because of those few people who took the time to listen and rate this, they probably felt it didn't stack up compared to Vomitory's subsequent releases.
I for one really enjoy this album, but I can understand why some wouldn't.

Most likely. This reminds me of Purification Through Violence - it gets an unnecessary bashing from people just because it's more primitive and raw than the better produced stuff that was released in the following years.
