This album is a great example of Finntroll's trademark sound, and although some songs aren't necessary to be on the album, there is a lot of diverse musicianship on offer here.

If I'd have to choose my absolute favourite folk metal album I think this album would have the biggest chance to win. It has nice folk melodies, some pretty wicked riffs, pounding rhythm section and troll-like vocals of Katla.
