I want to be clear, what I'm reviewing here is the 2001's re-mixed and re-mastered version of the original Iced Earth, part of the Dark Genesis box-set , but since nobody has written something about the original till today, I can at least talk about the songs, seeing that I have no clue about the original sound. In fact, I already noticed a big difference between the original Night Of The Stormrider and the version included in the box-set. Have a look at that other review for more information. But still, this record has something very attractive: that's the first Iced Earth's full-length album, following their highly-praised demo.

Rating: 9 No comments today I listened it 2 and half times on way to school and beck,, this and Stormrider is werry underated, werry ''unknown'' albums IE for mainstream is whit Tim and Matt when they recah a glory but this is not bad at all, I wish Gene Adams stay lil longer or after kick out bad singing or being a nazie dont remeber who was who , but if he continue whot other band he could get some good albums his vocals and together whit riffs n muisc was awesome in this band, realy he could relise 2-3 goood albums

Everything in this album is a masterpiece and a very good ...
I think * Jon Schaffer * is the best world beat rhythm guitar .... I think anyone who has not listened to the album ... It has done wrong in his life ... not listening to the album "the best guitar riff heard nothing ... not even the passing of * Gene Adam * In my opinion the best vocals ICED EARTH ...
