24.04.2013 II is pretty much what I thought it would be... 40 minutes or so of ugly, foul blackened sludge. Only instead of 6-7 tracks they crafted two 20 minute double-epics, tossing in some groovy psychedelia to boot. Rawr.

Rating: 8 Both songs can be streamed (in separate locations annoyingly), The Void Settlers on their bandcamp, and Elements Of Doom on Cvlt Nation.

Rating: 8 I've decided that this album is on par with Abyssal's recent effort, if not just a smidgen better. Truly outstanding work here, and to top it off (and to agree with just about everyone who's commented on the artwork), goddamn that is some fine artwork.
MechanisT - 11.04.2013 at 00:58
Great artwork. I'll check this one out asap.

Rating: 8 Vicious sounding stuff.

I will listen to it. I enjoyed their debut.

Rating: 8 Turns out they aren't the first band to use this incredible artwork:

(really nice sounding death metal too). Would like to find out who the artist is.

[edit]

Apparently it's Otto Dix's The War (1929-1932). He's done some fantastic artwork.

First time listening to this band. I do like it.

coool, their first album is fairly awesome as well. Still need to get this new one though, as I am guessing at its goodness

Rating: 9 For some reason, the background of this album reminds me of a Reverend Bizarre album, but slightly sludgier. Great album.
3rdWorld - 28.10.2013 at 05:30
Nothing exciting or unique here, but some epic sludge doom indeed.

Rating: 8 I love it, surprisingly
Lit. - 05.02.2014 at 01:47
Wow, I think I actually prefer this over their debut. This is intense, meaty stuff.
Demerzel - 10.02.2014 at 22:39
Rating: 8 Excellent. Much better than it's predecessor which I found to be rather uninteresting.
