I'll level with you guys. I wrote a review for Kings Of Metal MMXIV back in November 2013, based purely on the Battle Hymns MMXI abomination and the seconds-long clip of the "Kingdom Come" vocal track. I knew exactly what this would sound like; I was only waiting for the album's release to confirm my suspicions. Well, you know what? It's WORSE.

Why... Just why?? This is clearly not going to work out for them. In fact, touching anything that Ross did is a bad idea. In fact, I don't know if Ross played on this. Somebody, stop this madness..!

this one was already crap to begion with Btw Ross was on it originally, so just like with Battle Hymns it's clearly about the band not wanting to pay any more royalties

Somebody, stop this madness..!

This. Somebody should sue them for making their mediocre work even worse.

I listened only until the second track and it was enough...

Rating: 2 The first track was passable, but they butchered the second one and I stopped listening. Why?! Why ruin this record?! The production of the original was great. The performance was also great! Why make a subpar re-recording with a worn-off Eric Adams and some obsolete musicians (quality-wise)? The only answer is money... nothing else, same thing with the re-recording of the debut.

I want regular studio album. The question is: Will better than The Lord Of Steel ? Can they record a great album in the future ?

I'm trying to understand why these albums need to be re-recorded in the first place
Slyfang - 27.03.2014 at 02:45
Setting quality aside, can someone explain the 46 dollar pricetag?

Amazon sometimes has really weird price points. It's cheaper on their website.
