Sweden is not a better place to live than the rest of Europe. A lot of things have become worse in the last 40 years. Healthcare is one. Education is another.
I mean, that's usually how things go on the grand scale. Sure you can improve your local community in many ways, but if it's about wealth and prosperity, it will have a component of exploitation. It cannot work in any other way.

corrupt, you do realize that people can have several interests in mind? Just because you like your community/country/culture/people doesn't mean that's everything that matters to you. You can care about a country, a family, a ...
@corrupt, I completely agree with you on that. I just thought it was important to challenge the idea that improving one’s home country necessarily has negative consequences for the rest of the world.
