It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

It appears this band have the Cradle of Filth, Elvira Madigan & Wykked Wytch style in sound. The vocals are also close to that of Death, Razor, Massacre, Malicious Onslaught & a few others or so. It's actually a bit refreshing hearing someone who can actually get to a high pitch without it sounding like a fail. People claim that they can fry, but they end up sucking at it, the frontman can seem to carry it out pretty well. It's probably the hardest vocal skill to master.

Brezno is one of the first and most successful folk metal bands in Slovenia. They have just released a widely acclaimed album Kri, which has cemented them at the top of Slovenian metal scene. They have played many international concerts including the Bloodstock festival. They are a very promising band and deserve to be on this page if for nothing else in order to help spread Slovenian folk metal into the world.

Obzerv is a metal band from Rethymno (Crete), formed in late 2011. Musical influences? A little bit of HxC, Thrash, a couple of blast-beats here & there, occasionally "scream-my-lungs-out" vocals, all played with a progressive perspective! They have released a self-financed 3-song promo (Promo 2012), and in the summer of 2014 their selftitled album came via Trailblazer Records. So far they have shared the stage with bands such as SepticFlesh, Rotting Christ and Grave Digger among others..

I want Winter's Wake to be on metal storm because they personally asked me to do a review about their EP "Yellow Moon". I was able to write an awesome review and no other website has them.

a very unique band with odd song structures and techniques, utilizing a wide range of vocal styles and lyrical topics. despite numerous line up changes in the 4 year existence of the band, they have stayed together and stayed strong in a difficult region for underground, original music.

This band was a key element in Australia back in the 90's who toured and supported big bands such as Slayer and Machine Head. At their peak in relation to the metal scene at that time Allegiance had an original sound of incredible energy distinctive from other big bands. Allegiance was a HUGE staple in the Australian metal scene, I myself and the majority of Australian metal-heads would clearly acknowledge and honour such a great leader who represented the Australian metal scene to the world of metal! Thanks for reading.
Two studio albums: D.E.S.T.I.T.U.T.I.O.N (1994) - Skinman (1996)

Engage should be on Metal Storm because Engage was a great Power Metal band and people need to know about them. Engage tunes are lyrically creative, melodic, dynamic, fast, complex and interesting. It's good stuff!

Salythia's main goal is to shred and kick ass, plain and simple. They don't care for the fame, they don't care for the money, they care for the music, the fans, and the experience of performing live in front of a roaring crowd.
Salythia gives what the metalheads want, including ripping solos, relentless guitar riffs, mosh pits, pure aggression, a strong live presence, intricate songwriting, and a pulsating power that will punch you in the mouth and infect your mind.
All the members derive from different backgrounds of metal music theory, but the fact that they can all come together as one unit to create a unique and signature style is worth noting, and worth seeing for yourself.

Def-Con-One was founded over a decade ago by Antton Lant on drums (former drummer for black metal legends Venom 1999-2009) and Johnny Hunter on guitars. They have released 2 albums, Warface and II and also an EP 'Brutal Force and Ignorance' which all hit you hard from start to finish. Bloodstock Festival actually described Def-Con-One as coming across like a bar fight between Machine Head, Slayer and Pantera.
