21:34 - Bad English untill 16 I did not listen music much it was hard, I did watch TV , but I just calculate I am not shore, (BTW I includet porno as well)
21:33 - Zaphod Come on, I believe you've seen a lot of movies, but let's be realistic, 20.000 movies is a fuck ton, I don't buy it unless watching movies is somehow related to your work in which case it's still a fuck ton and not very believable
21:29 - Zaphod Lol. I'm not gonna calculate that but I'm pretty sure it'd come out something like 10 hours a day watching movies/listening to music for 20 years on the condition that he never listens to the same album/watches the same movie twic
21:29 - Bad English Zap - I dunno number but I did do it in teenage days holydays like 5 per day so on, I have seen 10-20k IMO
21:21 - Fearmeister @Zaph Don't forget the 50,000 albums he has apparently listened to as well
It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

Arguable is the key word - their early albums had the occasional heavy number but are mostly synth-laden rock a la Heart. They've definitely gone straight-up for hard rock in recent releases, but I'm not sure they've ever played "metal" per se.
I would say add them for the same reason we have Aerosmith and that featured.

I do not consider them glam and in the early days they weren't much of a visual K band either. Their early sound was more rooted in classical rock. Outerlimits though has a metallic sound. Except for the album recorded with Steffanie, since Outerlimits they played a more metallic sound, even though there were some pop metal material in those too. Outerlimits incorporates many things from Mark II Deep Purple (especially in regards to keyboard usage) and early 80s Judas Priest (especially in regard to riffage). While it does have some more mellow, balladlike songs, it does not make it less metal. Hard Way is even heavier and Genuine Diamond more or less continues in this direction.

Enceladus, a dual harmony guitar assault, profound bass, and energized drums; all synergistically combined with passionately sung, cosmically inspired lyrical elements to create an exhilarating and refreshing form of metal.

Our work is a world of contrast combinations. Here you will find anxious presentiment and cheerfulness, joyful lyricism and attacking aggression, hard drum rhythms and tender melodies, airy keyboard roulades and heavy guitar sound. There is the sound of the wind and the quiet of the forest which got mixed in the music.

In March 2011 the band also named Jugger Note, began to form under the influence of Classic Rock, already own songs. Phase that did not quite last long when the band took aim at a way more Heavy Metal, which led them to find new influences, igniting his passion for Progressive Metal.
extinguished the Jugger Note, Jugger and adopted only as a name, the band began his c aminho as a Progressive band with influences like Dream Theater, Queen, Opeth, Symphony X, and a more brazuca footprint, reaching the creek. Epicenter is a rising thrash metal band originating from Pelham, NH. They began as a small project in 2007 with guitarist Ryan Burke and vocalist/drummer Zachary King, with guitarist Jared Towne and bassist Scott Doe later joining in, letting the real destruction begin. They quickly made a name for themselves in the new England area slaying stages and crushing shows for enthusiastic crowds at local venues. They have been interviewed on the radio stations WCAP and WUML, and played a full live set on air, while also getting repeated air play on 91.5 The Stress Factor. They have shared the stage with many bands, including Lich King, Sonic Pulse, and Six in Line, and have been booked to open for the legendary national acts Death, Testament, Overkill, Flotsam and Jetsam, Ill Nino, and 4ARM and the list is still growing. The pure energy of Epicenter's stage show alone drops jaws, and the complex, heavy music they play leaves their crowds wanting more. Witness it for yourself and join the rapidly growing movement that is Epicenter and brace yourself for a hell of a show.

A great and heavy deathcore band from australia, which are going to release their second full-length soon. Seems to be way too few deathcore bands on this site, that's for sure. For fans of Aegaeon, Oceano and Whitechapel.

We are Forensick, a traditional Heavy Metal-Band from Horb am Neckar, Southern Germany.
Founded in July 2010, we elate our audience with our musical creativity and a powerful stage performance.
Our music is distinctive because of our twin-lead-guitars, mixed with a powerful bass-sound and high
clean vocals. The melodious singing, catchy melodies and modern riffs are the recognition values of
After our first gig in October 2012 on a truck trailer, bigger stages were conquered in the following year,
for example the Rock am Neckar-Festival (with U.D.O. and Onkel Tom Angelripper). After that Forensick
were the winner of the "Nordschwarzwald Music Contest".
In the end of 2011, we started the recordings for our first record which was released under the name "Forensick"
in February 2012.
Within few months the first pressing (500 pieces) were sold out. Well-established metal magazines wrote
very positive reviews.
Next to concerts in smaller and bigger clubs, for example the LKA Longhorn in Stuttgart, we participated the Crow-Attack-Festival
or the Mini-Rock-Festival in Horb am Neckar. But the flashpoint of our previous career was in summer 2012:
because of the winning of a voting for the opener slot (more than 300 other bands were involved), we conquered the
big stage at the Bang Your Head-Festival 2012 in Balingen. Many positive reviews and comments in the Rockhard-magazine
or the Metal Hammer were the results of that gig.

Austrian band Coma. from city of Dornbirn was founded two years ago and since then released some demos, EP, a couple of singles and are now working hard on their debut album which should be out still this year. The band performs an insane and often disturbing mix of black metal, industrial, ambient and rock. Worth checking out!
14.08.2014 - João Pirucas
New band composed of ex-members from The Mars Volta: Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, Cedric Bixler-Zavala, Dave Elitch and Flea. Slightly more straight forward than The Mars Volta but with every bit of wackiness. Debut album was already (independently) released.

They are an uprising band but they haven't stopped since 2009.
They toured Spain in concert venues (with bands such as Negura Bunget) and in some festivals like HOM Fest (where bands like Grave Digger, Ensiferum or Sodom played).
Thanks for reading! :-)
