It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

Sweden remains a real fertile ground for brilliant Rock 'n' Roll acts. With the three guys from JESUS CHRÜSLER SUPERCAR another hot band set off on their crusade towards Europe last year. With their release "Among The Ruins And Desolate Lands" the 2011 founded and Stockholm-based threesome delivered a dirty and hard album that really kicks your ass. They now continue their path with their new 7"-EP "Full Blown Hell" in brute force. Their supreme Swedish Death 'n' Roll makes them sound like a true bastard of Entombed and Motörhead.
Like its predecessor "Among The Ruins And Desolate Lands", the band decided to once again enter the legendary Sunlight Studios to work with Tomas Skogsberg who had a big impact on acts such as Entombed, The Hellacopters or the Backyard Babies. The two new lighthouses "Full Blown Hell" and "God Gave Us Nothing" attest that it was the right choice: the producer managed to give JESUS CHRÜSLER SUPERCAR that much-loved dry old school sound that bangs from the speakers with sufficient timely pressure. Besides their door-opening music video "Killing Machine" which had been released in fall 2012, the video clip on their song "Pitchfork" also caused a furor. But the Swedes did not get lazy but worked on a new music video which will come out with the release of their small black vinyl.
The title track brings back memories of the best moments from "Among The Ruins And Desolate Lands". Crisp and straight Death 'n' Roll clubs you straight on the head! JESUS CHRÜSLER SUPERCAR use chaotic melody-hooks which lend their sound an autonomous note. The dirty-doomy "God Gave Us Nothing" clearly shows that the band is developing as the song could also fit on an album by Black Label Society or Down. Fans of rough Rock 'n' Roll will definitely find their home here - they should make sure to quickly get a copy of the 7" EP at their trusted vinyl dealer when "Full Blown Hell" will be released on 26th April 2014 via vönHell Records/Sound Pollution. The EP is limited to 300 copies and features a cool cover artwork in form of a B-movie poster from the 1960s made by illustrator Marc Schönn of Maximum Black.

The Oneira is the progressive metal band lead by the greek multi-instrumentalist Filippos Gougoumis. A multi-cultural project across Greece, Italy and Germany.

The record guest Oliver's Vocals plus a session vocalist and drummer.
"Natural prestige" was pretty welcome in the international progressive scene, proving the skill of the band and the right mix between old and new "progressive colours".
After "Natural prestige" Filippos decide to challenge himself and work on more complex, mature and sophisticated sound which is the new step to "forge" The Oneira style.
Filippos adds a new permanent drummer to the band. Oliver Philipps suggest his italian friend Danilo "Sakko" Saccotelli, which is grown in the progressive heavy metal scene in the early 90'. He's also a writer and lyricist.
The current line up worked so hard for the second album "Hyperconscious", again co-produced by Oliver Philipps (also guest lead vocals/guitars) and Christian Moss, with "new blood" on it, Charlotte Wessels (from Delain) as a guest appearance and the new guest lead singer Manuel Ruscigno.

Heavens Fire is currently a melodic metal band lead by guitarist JT Harris out of Toronto Canada. Back in 1998, JT joined forces with drummer/lyricist Mike Mackinnon and bassist Andy Narsingh. Their 2000 release on Now and Then records entitled "The Outside" consisted of many songs already written before JT got involved. After many negative reviews and disappointing record sales, the band took on a whole new approach, sound and direction as JT took over all song writing duties for the follow up CD. Fate however, had other plans. On the same day of their first release, the band lost their drummer in a tragic accident while JT and his dad went on to contract cancer just a year after that. Despite given months to live, JT managed to recover within a year and has been healthy ever since. His dad however was not so lucky as the cancer had returned which forced him to be confined to his bed for his final years on earth. Without JT, and no one else to write new material, the project was put on hold indefinitely as JT stayed home to help provide care for his father. There was no Heavens Fire activity of any kind for over 10 years.

Well even though the band is now ''Split-up'' they were still a major crossover act in the 80's and 90's. They released 4 full length from 85 to 95.
They are absolutely fantastic it's a shame that they've stopped and I believe they still deserve a spot on MS.

Awesome metal act out of Japan. Active since 2006. Style is similar to Galneryus, Concerto Moon and Onmyo-Za. Japan metal bands don't get much exposure outside of Japan so any global recognition they can get I think would help fuel the success and name recognition of the band. Also Yama-B left Galneryus in 2008 and more recently has been helping Hiroyas "Iron" Chino on his more recent album releases, "Icicle Fall" and "Scarlet Furor" since 2013.
For a list of the full length discography you can visit the official website below or an affiliate metal site here: http://www.spirit-of-metal.com/groupe-groupe-Iron_Attack-l-en.html. Spirit of Metal lists the musical style as "Guitar Hero," but not sure if it's joke. I would say their style is closer to the bands I first listed so use your own discretion if you create the band page.
Finally, I believe there may be some anime connection with this band since most of the album covers are anime art, so not sure their soundtracks to animes or just studio albums recorded by Iron Chino.
Thanks for checking them out.

At the end of 2014 the band finished the recordings of their debut album entitled "Gallery of Life" with the help of producer Jan Cvercko. Early 2015 Within Silence signed a deal with the Swedish label Ulterium Records, and the debut album "Gallery of Life" is scheduled to come out early May in Europe and North America.

Viper Solfa were formed in 2013 by Ronny Thorsen, the ex-lead vocalist of Trail of Tears, after the band disbanded. Viper Solfa consists of many well-estbalished names in the metal scene, alongside Thorsen most notably Morpheus, known for his work with Ancient and Limbonic Art and also as being a part of Mayhem's live performances for four years. In February 2015 the band released their debut, Carving An Icon, a blend of black metal, gothic metal with symphonic metal features. Why it should be on MS? Simply, because it is a metal band, it consists of well-know names and musicians and has released a noteworthy debut. It may be a bit hard to pin them down to a single genre, but their mulitple-layered style surely has a bright future ahead.

South Korean glam metal band Victim Mentality formed in 2009 in Seoul. The group was founded by vocalist Krocodile and guitarist Kyungho Sohn, who first bonded years earlier by jamming on Iron Maiden and Judas Priest covers. A veteran of South Korea's metal scene, Sohn previously played in the melodic death metal band The Crescents and has been a member of symphonic black metal act Dark Mirror ov Tragedy since 2007.
Wanting to showcase their love of '80s glam metal, Sohn and Krocodile teamed up to work on music that paid homage to the subgenre's heyday. Taking their time, they crafted the songs for their first EP, "Magic Finger," in 2009 and 2010 and recorded them as a duo in 2012 and 2013.
In February 2013, Krocodile and Sohn invited bassist Scorpion to join Victim Mentality. In July 2013, "Magic Finger" was released. The offering boasts the powerful, catchy cuts "Don't Spit on Me" and "I'm Not Your Friend" along with the title track, a power ballad dealing with the anguish caused by impotence. The EP ends with Korean versions of "Don't Spit on Me" and "I'm Not Your Friend."
July 2013 also saw the band finally making their live debut. Not having a drummer, they relied on a drum machine for their initial gigs until drummer Tarantula was brought on board in February 2014. Deciding their style should match their sound, for concerts Victim Mentality sport plenty of leopard print, lip gloss, and eyeliner. And to keep audiences further entertained, flamboyant frontman Krocodile often brandishes a bullwhip while delivering his impassioned wails. Quickly winning over fans and capturing the attention of the Korean music industry, in May 2014 - less than a year after their first live show - the group played at Seoul's Green Plugged festival and later that summer appeared at the Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival, one of the country's most famed summer outings.
In spring 2015, Victim Mentality will release their debut full-length offering, "Heavy Metal Is Back." The act will be embarking on their first American tour in March and will preview material from "Heavy Metal Is Back" at South by Southwest (SXSW).
