It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

The band's style resembles post-hardcore and progressive rock, often incorporating rapid changes of tempo and mood framed in complex guitar melodies and technical drumming. They utilize both male and female vocals ranging from soft singing to loud wails and screams.

Everyday I Die was founded in summer 2014 when Kohlhaas and Strid first got in touch with each other via Facebook. Strid happened to be looking for another challenge during the creative hiatus of his band Soilwork when some extremely interesting demo recordings by Kohlhaas came to his attention. Kohlhaas was thrilled that Strid out of all people, one of his favourite contemporary metal vocalists, commented so favourably on his material. Of course he used this unique opportunity and forwarded more examples of his musical ideas to the singer, receiving another positive reaction from Sweden: "Great composings, man!" Strid promptly enthused by e-mail, adding: "We should definitely do something together." The guitarist didn't need to be asked twice and, together with drummer Michael Stein and bassist Claude Ewert, produced the debut album Isolation at the Bazement Studio under the direction of Markus Teske (Vanden Plas, Saga, among others).

The reason why I believed this band should be here is because they are an upcoming band that has became popular rapidly. Them and babymetal are the bands in this generation that are bringing something to the game of metal with wagakki band they are using traditional Japanese folk instrument and mixing it with metal and it sounds amazing. That is my reason of them being in this website thank you for your time

They are an up and coming Canadian band, performing original styled, different music in an otherwise repetitive, monotonous world. They sign about important topics in addition to the usual nonsense. They have release 2 studio EP's and numerous live recordings so far, and are working on a full length album currently.

Silent Elegy is a symphonic metal, soprano female fronted band from China. Their debut album has just been released and I can assure anyone who likes symphonic or symphonic power metal bands that this band is totally worth listening to.
Many will find the vocalist's voice is really close to Tarja's voice in her early years with Nightwish.
In summary, a great symphonic metal band with a soprano female fronted vocalist which is perfectly suitable for this website.
My favourite three songs from their debut album "Gone with the Wind" are (Redemption, Valkyries and Indelible Memory).

BARK is a new pack of Antwerp stray dogs of extreme sound. Infectious dirty riffs and a voice that tears your speakers apart. They serve their tunes raw, unpolished, gritty and dark!

I am suggesting to add Warfather to Metal Storm because It is good death metal in the vein of Morbid Angel. Warfather is one of Steve Tuckers projects. I think his main project next to Morbid Angel. The first release ("Orchestrating the Apocalypse" ) was released 2014. Aside from an old school production the record had mainly positive reviews. The follow up is about to be released this year (Greyhaze Records) and was produced by Erik Rutan.
Though one of the rather "generic" DM bands I think this is one of the best and more promising.

"Devil I Know is a fresh breath of American-style melodic hard rock. The band's songs do contain some familiar elements but these guys are no copycats - they have their own sound and that sound happens to be pretty damn good! Driven by catchy singalong choruses, heavy rock riffs and high-quality production, Devil I Know is on its way to something bigger. Their songs have already received airplay on various rock-oriented radio stations in Finland, UK, US and Canada. Their self-titled debut album, preceded by the digital single "Scream And Shout", was released on November 2nd 2012." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmlvcWzSxtY
