It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

Corelia are a burgeoning progressive/technical metal band with a single EP under their belts. With a sound not unlike Protest the Hero and The Human Abstract, they've come across some especially interesting ideas along the way, with a stunning selection of songs, to boot. 'Nostalgia' was released in 2011, and I've been listening ever since. Highly recommended.
09.09.2013 - LeKiwi
Not unlike Periphery's heavier moments...not bad
02.10.2013 - BaneConall
They are working on a full length now. Hopefully soon.
17.03.2014 - Dead In Hell
I have to say, the sound IS unlike Protest the Hero. The only way these bands sound alike is if you've never heard progressive metal before. Corelia is doing something entirely different, something that is much more amenable to fans of the genre and not just tweens taking a break from their Miley Cyrus playlists.
Anyway, Corelia deserves to be included on the site. Nostalgia is a phenomenal release that has garnered the band a lot of well-deserved attention and acclaim. If the upcoming album is of the same quality, it's going to take the genre by storm.

They should be here as Spain is a kind of important country as regards metal fans and this band is together with another 4 or 5 the most famous hard rock and rock band in the territory. Above all from Madrid northwards. They only reason why outsiders don't know them is the fact that they sing in Spanish. Otherwise, they would be popular enough for you.
Their music style is quite similar to The Ramones, Motorhead...The voice is let's say "peculiar". They are still active after 28 years and still selling out venues.
Their website appears to be in maintenance now.
02.06.2014 - Jujitsu-man
Can't believe they're not here. One of the most important hard rock bands in Spain.
09.06.2014 - Shankao
They are not only a Hard Rock band. They have several Heavy Metal songs.

Fastway are a British heavy metal band formed by guitarist, "Fast" Eddie Clarke, formerly of Motörhead, and bassist, Pete Way, formerly of UFO.
Don't think I need more reasons to explain why the band needs to be part of MS? Do You? I bet most of Motörhead and UFO fans are familiar with Fastway or know something about the band.
In addition, I am not able to find there official site, however I provided a link to there myspace page.
27.01.2010 - DayFly
AOR of the sticky, shmalzy kind
24.10.2013 - onedh
Fastway should be included in metalstorm.com ASAP. "Fast" Eddie Clarke delivers atrue amount of oldschool Heavy Metal. Also this band has been an influence for many other bands.
02.12.2009 - Bastard Child
London based and out to offend everyone. Featuring members of Damnas and Inner Rage River Frehney have terrorized the UK underground with their no holds bar offensive comedy and hardcore thrash. Have played with ArnoCorps, Ring Wrom and Evile, toured with Nebukadnezza and have a number of EP's released.
05.06.2013 - psykometal
Needs at least one full length.
24.03.2014 - Northern Danger
Psyko why? In metalstorm we have so many bands who have only EPs and splits. I think that's no condition....
12.06.2011 - SceneryOfLoss
Stamina is a french metal band founded by the keyboardist Gildas Vijay ROUSSEAU. In 2006 they released their debut album "Mess'Age" and currently work on the second album "Via Crucis".

In the Autumn of 2008, CHAOS IN PARADISE started taking their first steps in a small garage in Oporto suburbs, where Alex and Quik began to outline the identity of the band.
After a few days, they started searching for other musicians to complete CHAOS IN PARADISE and after a while they found Pedro for guitar, 19 for bass and Sara for the vocal parts.
With the band as a whole, the quintet began writing their first Demo which came out in February 2010, including the songs "Dawn", "Heading North", "The Meaning of Being Imposed" and "Antagonized".
The band recorded the Demo at their own studio and released and distributed the four songs online for free!
After, CHAOS IN PARADISE began their live shows through Portugal, to promote their work and also to obtain experience as a band.
In the beginning of 2011, the band returned to the rehearsal room to start writing their following work, trying a new aproach to improve their sound, bringing their own identity to it and making it more coherent.
With the pre-production on the bagage, the recording sessions of the EP started in March 2011 at Soundvision Studios in Vila do Conde with Paulo Lopes in the co-production.
From the EP entitled "Let the Bliss Remain" the band released their first single "Awareness" to the fans and press, aquiring unanimous opinions expressing that their evolution and sound quality had a huge improvement.
With the "Let the Bliss Remain" presentation and release in June 2011, CHAOS IN PARADISE came back to the road to promote their EP in Portugal, having already some International shows in mind.
At the moment, they're planning to edit their first album in 2012.
28.07.2013 - psykometal
Needs at least one full length.
24.11.2013 - LeKiwi
Ugh those weak screams...a better vocalist would be a huge improvement.
03.03.2010 - FrostFlame
Slash's Snakepit was a rock band which was a side-project formed by then-Guns N' Roses lead guitarist Slash (Saul Hudson) in 1994. On their first album, Matt Sorum (drums), Gilby Clarke (rhythm guitar) and Dizzy Reed (keyboard) from Guns N' Roses played in this band. On bass was Mike Inez of Alice in Chains and Eric Dover (who had previously played guitar for Jellyfish) sang lead vocals.
GN'R colleague Teddy Andreadis also appeared on the record playing harmonica & keyboards.
03.03.2010 - DayFly
Honestly, this stuff has too much boogie to call it metal. Maybe if Aerosmith were here...
08.06.2011 - in GRAVE
they are a good progressive metal band and they are influenced in dream theater and symphony x
16.05.2012 - Oracles
There one of those hidden European Prog Metal bands that are from a country who produces little to zero good metal bands and they signed with an unknown record company that is making them go unnoticed. But if everything goes good, this band has immense future. Their major influence is Dream Theater.
Tree of Life ,
The Land of Lights.
All of which you can find on youtube.

Ace Of Hearts is a "supergroup" with members of Secret Sphere, Icon & the Black Roses and Odd Dimension, his debut album "Monster" is a MUST for the fans of the genre!
11.01.2010 - mindfeeder
It's one of the few good Power Metal bands from Portugal. It has been a fair sucess with it's debut EP "Mind Revolution" wich has received good reviews around the globe, and it's a great live band.
Mindfeeder is currently working on their first Long Play and I think that Metal Storm would be the perfect place to give Mindfeeder a hand and show themselves to the Metal World.
Thanks! and Keep Feeding your Mind!
14.12.2013 - slsimmion
Endless Storm - the best power metal cd 2013!!!
04.06.2010 - Uirapuru
One of the precursors when talk about Extreme music in Brazil.
They play a extreme kind of punk, with hardcore, crust, thrash and even grindcore elements (even years before Napalm Death's Scum)
10.07.2010 - cursedestiny
nice hard band .. but is not metal
16.10.2011 - joachimers
Absolutely metal, this is awesome!
04.10.2012 - Die Hacker [PT]
Agreed absolutely with Uirapuru. Totally disagreed with cursedestiny. First half of their career is more metal (cross over thrash to be more precise) than punk. Those albums are important in the genre's comprehensive understanding.
21.06.2014 - Mr. Cheeky
First 2 albums was more punk but started to develop more into crossover thrash metal now. Kinda similar to what The Exploited did. Would be a nice addition to metalstorm for crossover and punk fans.
27.06.2014 - Progenies
My band was already in the Metal Storm database under the name Eyeless, but we changed name to Progenies! Is it possible to create a new page of whatever? He also have a new album that just got out, for now we are independent but looking for a label/distributor.
Have a listen : https://fr-fr.facebook.com/pages/Progenies/452143194873352 (a quick review would be cool too!). Enjoy!
27.06.2014 - Syk
Is it... a new band, or just changed name? We can have the Eyeless profile updated, if appropriate / if need be (actually, you could search and click to edit it yourself, and mention / copypaste this at the bottom)
24.06.2014 - God of shadows
Their facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Zorakarer?fref=ts - They recently released a full-length called "Carion Call Of Destiny", and they're extremely good imo. Just found out about them.
24.06.2014 - smwayfarer
Wayfarer is a metal band from the Rocky Mountains of Colorado who bring a unique atmospheric metal sound with touches of post metal, black metal, folk, and progressive tendencies, creating driven landscapes that are vast but ultimately human.
They are on the verge of releasing their full length debut "Children Of The Iron Age" on July 9, 2014, which was produced by Dave Otero (Cattle Decapiatation, Cobalt, Nightbringer) and are about to embark on a US tour with Dreadnought, who were reviewed very favorably on this site last year.
24.06.2014 - diamondblack
Brazilian thrash metal shredding since 1981.
The early '80s marked the worldwide metal scene for the emergence of bands like Slayer, Metallica, Venom, Exodus, Anthrax and others, which created a huge fan base where your songs accordingly serve to influence other bands that might arise. In Brazil, one of these bands was the aggressor, had its embryonic phase formed in the year 1982 in the city of Macae in the state of Rio de Janeiro, when a group of friends met in order to learn to play and start a band.
23.06.2014 - RottingDeathHead
So this band was only around for six years before they finally split up, but in that time they had released one really solid death metal album entitled Empyreal Regimes. Their name comes from the xemorph aliens in the Alien film series.
23.06.2014 - Milan
A young Pakistani band that brings a fun mix of grindcore, hardcore punk and death metal. The production on their latest ep Jamat-al-Maut might be a bit lacking but the enthusiasm speaks volumes.
22.06.2014 - PhantomLord21
This is the first band of Stefan Schmidt and Bastian Emig (now best known for being part of Van Canto). While I personally am not a huge fan of Jester's Funeral's material, I feel that people who like Van Canto's music might find the band worth a look into.
The band were active from 1996 to 2006 and released 4 studio albums (all of which can now be downloaded on a pay what you want basis from the band's bandcamp profile): 1999's Labyrinth, 2000's QuickSilverLight, 2003's Shifting:Skywards and 2006's Fragments of an Exploding Heart.
20.06.2014 - DigmetalworldConnect
Band formed in 1989, Santiago, Chile after 2 demos and 1 EP splits in 1999. In 2011 moves to New York, NY and is currently recording new material with 2 original members.
19.06.2014 - Sand
BECAUSE this guy has 125 full-length albums and the one insane person who decides to add em all will get a bunch of community points.
21.06.2014 - Starchild
Probably most productive musician on the planet. And i really like his music. I've checked out maybe only 1/10 of his music, but there are really some great stuff. You can find really a lot of genres in his discography, doom, prog, folk, electro, djent, ambient....
