It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

Not quite a metal band, but seeing that other hard rock or glam bands are featured, I do not see why these guys shouldn't be here. Great White is one of the better bands from that thoroughly commercial movement of the 80s.

Royal Corvus band was formed in September 2005 and the first band name was Corvus. The name was borrowed from Latin, it translates - the Raven. It is a symbol of the wisdom in most ancient religions of the world. Raven is a carrier of souls across the River of Eternity and a binding link between the fragile edge of the World of Shadows and the World of the Living. Initially, the Corvus band was created as a melodic symphonic gothic metal project, but in the process of development and quality growth joins itself the best of the different trends and styles of rock. Now Royal Corvus band has created more than thirty Russian and English-language songs. Song's sound is very different: from romantic ballads to hard and progressive rock. And nobody of the listeners will not remain indifferent, because everyone will find something in this music for themselves. All this different musical styles are merged in one unique style - Corvus style. Besides his own works band plays covers of classic rock and pop songs. During its long history Royal Corvus band many times was engaged in various kinds of rock and bike festivals in Kharkov, and outside it. The Royal Corvus band received invitations and performed in support to rock stars as: Master, Sergey Mavrin, Epidemia, Catharsis, and vocalist of the legendary bands Rainbow and Deep Purple - Joe Lynn Turner. April 28, 2012 the Corvus band has presented their debut album - Raven Rising. October 24, 2012 Royal Corvus was official support group of SCORPIONS in Kharkov as part of the farewell tour "FINAL STING TOUR" .

Progressive Metal band in the vein of The Human Abstract's Digital Veil album without the harsh vocals. Their debut album Reticence: The Musical has already been released. Definitely worth a listen.

Give it a listen. These guys are pretty damn good and the music should speak for itself. I will say give atleast a listen to a couple of songs.
It's brilliant stuff that comes out of the states, and being from the states we need more articulate new bands/music. This is a good show of that.

The band started at 2008, and recently released an album called "Vortex of Endless War". This band combining the style of old school death metal such as morbid angel, entombed, suffocation, cannibal corpse, with vibe and sound of the modern death metal. Within 7 years of their journey, they're fairly strong in their own league. They have so much potential to give, but only few people knows them. They play death metal unlike any others, where in Indonesia, new death metal bands prefer to play faster and technical death metal. They play more mid tempo, but still strong enough to kick your ass.

Apallic should be listed on this website, because they seem to be promising.
They released an EP (Somnium) this month and go to the Soundloge-Studio (Suicidal Angels, Sinister, God Dethroned, Dew-Scented, Cliteater) in May again for their first Full-length concept album, which contains a story of a coma patient from different point of views. The music may be not unique, but they have an interesting mixture of styles. Rough influences are Opeth and At The Gates.

Dead End were amongst the first death metal bands to rise from The Netherlands. Alongside contemporaries like The Gathering, Gorefest, Asphyx, Pentacle, Acrostichon, Celestial Season & others they contributed in their own way to the flourishing death metal scene of the late eighties / early nineties.
They are revived and reformed and a band to be reckoned with.
20.12.2015 - CyberSymphony
The band describe themselves as a modern melodic metal band, providing creative songs with their own personality inspired by the dark, gritty, rainwet city streets of a dystopian future. They have released an instrumental 4 song EP 'Nano' (2014) and an upcoming release 'Coalition' TBA soon.

organic illusion's history is not about musicians leaving and joining bands. it is about music, devotion, different styles and attitude.
where groove, passion and everyday life meld together to create an ever evolving sound that explores extreme music, melody, groove to be unleashed onstage.
universe closed in a cage, made of bones and bleeding flesh.
he Linear Chaos is the brand new album from Organic Illusion after the acclaimed debut mini-Lp Deception released in 2012.
A full-lenght with 8 songs as a result of three years of music, passion, furious live performances and lot of stages shared with bands like Extrema, Sawthis, Infernal Poetry, Thell Barrio, Rise of the Northstar, Resurrecturis, Natron.
The primoridial thrash/groove sound developed by the band throughout the years joins now modern influencies, melody, speed and intensity.
Here's the very first copy of our brand new work: we're sure you will enjoy it and we hope in a positive feedback.

Formed in early 2012, CHAOSBAY is digging its way through the thickets of the upcoming metal and progressive music scene. Ever since then, the group founded by mastermind Jan Listing, has always strived to combine complex song structures with heaviness and catchy melodies. led by outstanding and wide-ranging lead vocals. Meticulously working on their energetic and virtuoso live-shows, their songs tend to exceed the limits of conventional lenghts and structures, leading to a new architecture of sound, inspired by classical music, pop and metal genres. Touring throughout clubs and having hit many stages in their home country during the last two years, CHAOSBAY recently had the opportunity to support the well-known German progressive/alternative-acts THE INTERSPHERE, as well as instrumental-progrockers FRAMES and US-stoner-legends CLUTCH. The line-up also consists of Joschka Bender (Fedora, ex-The Utopia Experiment), Patrick Bernath (Hot Chick Banged) and Matthias Heising (Heising, Fedora). The band released their fully self-made and eponymous EP in late 2012 and is about to finish a 40-minute coloss track: "Vasilisa", which will be released next year.

The Arcanum XII were born in 2012 from the common idea of a group of musician friends to give life to a musical project that brought a progressive metal shade in an area such their place where unfortunately these kind of music and genres have no way to emerge.
After a initial brief knowledge, they joined immediately in the rehearsal room already owned by Mattia, the drummer of the group, to start composing their own music geared mainly on power metal and symphonic prog metal, citing groups such as Rush, Dream Theater, Vanden Plas, King Crimson etc …
They tried early on to give space to each component in order to express their own ideas, integrating them into songs as they went to take life.
After several months of "technical testing" there was a slight change of course where they decided to replace the singer with a voice that suited more to the songs that were born and with the passing of time abandoned the power metal imprint, veering towards a more complex progressive metal made of compound tenses and melodic twists.
The singer became Fabio Punchina one of the most powerful voices and later with the arrival of Mirco Mandruzzato at the keyboards, that leaves in the province of Rovigo, gived the final touch that was missing in the group.
Today, the band is still stable and the agreement is certainly good, the songs are becoming more progressive shades and the sound introduced by the new keyboardist, combined infinite extension voice of Fabio, made the Arcanum XII an highly respected group within their music.
