Mileth - Biography

Biography

The genesis of Mileth is located between the villages of Alfoz, Burela and O Valadouro, lands enclosed by the shadow of the Xistral and the omnipresence of the mists of the Bay of Biscay. Cruda climatologia that converted summer evenings on occasion to surround yourself with friends, instruments and beer.

Bad music, although good drinking, seized our souls and in October 2009, taken by destination besides the lands where Nordés dies, Diego plus Marcos decided to create a serious project with the intention of continuing to develop our passion: the beer Thus, we open a new pair of cans of this spirituous baby and between the cities of Vigo and Compostela we begin to walk the path of the Children of Thousands.

The forest became concrete and every Friday night after the trials, in our honor of the golden element and the blackness of the coffee liquor, as if it were an invocation, the other components of Mileth were joining us.

The first to enter the project was the bassist Adrián Levices, having to leave the group shortly after, seduced by the call of "chateau petrus", march to French lands. We also collaborate with Czech Tearez Pokorná or Bouzouki, an instrument that will be added later to the Milesian sound array.

Later, Finnish singer Ida Strömgård enters, which is a turnaround for the group as vodka is incorporated into its style. He also joins us as Elías do Eido do Clariño battery, but will change to the bass because the battery is too busy for a few bumps from time to time.

In July 2010, Galician has to follow the path of the North and leave the group to return to their country. Orphans of the melodic make in the voice, like the Aimirgin rhapsody, come to our call Dana de la Carballeira, a voice that will become a symbol of the arcanas white deities and the enxebrismo and mystique of our land.

In that same year he enters the battery Pisco of the Tavern with the purpose of to replace the machine of blast beats done by computer.

In 2011, just after finishing our first Demo, enter the Raquel de Ghallas group to deal with the keyboards and forget about the programming, achieving total humanization of the whole. To this end, Elías also leaves the bass to start playing the violin and the traditional cutting percussion, approaching the initial conception of incorporating more and more elements of Galician folklore (anise bottle, bottle of brandy, wine bottle, and other bottles that are worthy of being touched).

Arrived in 2012, we realize that so much fraudulent did not take the group to the Medulin's property, so we decided to park the alcohol of our pagan rituals and fix enough lucidity to look for a bassist who gave a qualitative leap to the group. The chosen one would be ourensano Cristian da Lima, People of the Rooster, who would take control of the 6 heavy ropes.

This year we recorded at the house our second Cancunero demo of Enxebre Escura and will be released as the first official model of the group, becoming a physical item in 2013.

In January of this same year, Diego de los Chechos sees himself obliged to seize the souks to emigrate to the Nordic lands and carry with him luggage part of the spirit of the Xistral.

But he left in our stone an everlasting symbol, a spiral that was begun to carve with the arrival of Alex O Pirolas, virtuoso guitarist from the roots of Monte Tegra with which we went to record in the studies of Vigosónico. In April of 2013, we recorded the song "... and in the ninth wave the gods fell," and as if it were a premonition, Mileth was shaken by a series of misfortunes that forced Alex and Raquel to leave the group. To these low ones Pisco adds at the end of that same year.

The group ends the year with a significant decline in people, but without the mood being decayed thanks, among others, to the help of friends such as Xoio Carmesí (or the old Checho), who will combine the usual work of art with those of the guitar.

With the arrival of 2014, a new circle begins to draw on our horizon with the publication of that single that drifted down to Víctor Gómez, who edited and mastered the 9-minute song, being published in digital format on January 31. At the same time, we are announcing new additions:

The chosen ones are Carlos do Castro, a young drummer from the magical lands of the Baixo Miño and that will give much to talk about in the near future. Víctor Gómez, anointed by the pagan baptism of the ninth wave, moves from becoming a producer to being part of the group as the lead guitar under the name of Inferno do Morrazo. And Rebeca da Bouina, a violinist who hangs his usual instrument to enter Mileth as a keyboard player and take control of the darkest and mystical environments of our sound.

A new stunt in this path of the search for the sounds and knowledge of the Galician wandering mythological, of the ancestral thought of the people, and of the most landscaping and customist entertainment.
