Verderbnis is a Melodic Black Metal Band from Kassel (Germany) founded in 2019, which emerged from a musical cooperation of Marcel Bangert (Mindreaper, Ex-White Dwarf,) and Martin Hartmann (Ex-Furious Anger). Driven from our shared passion for Black Metal, the foundation of the ensemble was built in the course of a joint concert. Quickly after that Kevin Schautzer (Suffum) and Noel Doering (Suffum) joined the Band.

The musical direction can only be roughly assigned to the early years of the 90s wave of Black Metal. Generally there are no reasons for musical chains that submit us to a general and obsessive genre or misses the traditional heritage and roots of the Black Metal Genre.

With Verderbnis you can expect an action-packed and diversified show, which gets you on a journey through aggressive fury and several epic moments. Progressivity and hypnotic monotony don ́t considered as a contradiction, but as an optional mean of expression and artistic freedom.

Lyrics that are close to nature and pagan ideology as well as necromantic occult contents voiced by in the songs.

Currently the band works on their first album which will probably be published at the end of the year 2022.
