Founded by Seb in 2001, ECLECTIKA was for its debuts a band without real ambition which played some music for fun. The name ECLECTIKA is given to the group because of its multiple musical influences and its various covers from The Gathering to Emperor. ECLECTIKA will know several changes of line up throughout its existence, what will compromise it repeatedly.
From 2005, Seb decides to develop and to professionalize the band and records the first demo Funeral Victorious March. There was not enough promotion. Nevertheless, returns were positive.
In 2007, ECLECTIKA is signed on very young Label ASYLUM RUINS for the release of its first entitled album The Last Blue Bird.
