Biography
Chapter I:
- Formed during the winter 2003-2004 by Evil (vocals), O. Sirius (drums) and Hypna (guitars).
- 2004-2007: becoming a duo after the departure of Hypna and three years later turning into Evil's solo project. Only some rehearsal tapes exist from these days containing mainly cover material.
Chapter II:
- The first "official" demo recording in 2007 by Evil alone which got self-released in 2008 as "Archimage EP".
- The second demo "The Dark Glory of Quietus" was recorded and released in 2008 and marked the return of O. Sirius behind the drum kit.
- The third and last demo "The Solstice of Winter" was recorded and released in 2009.
Chapter III:
- During the summer of 2009 Hastur joined Archimage.
- The recordings of the debut album began in late September 2009. It got mixed by the end of May 2010 and later mastered in June 2010.
- The release of the album took place in November 2010.
