Biography

Integral Rigor is an oriental death metal band formed by Reza Rostamian in 2009. Reza started his career since childhood in his hometown (Sari); he was into Iranian traditional music, so his death metal music has an Iranian taste.
In 2005 Reza started his first project with a band named "Sayhe" which was disbanded after releasing several single tracks. "Amort" - released last winter - was a re-record from one of Sayhe singles with some changes.

After Sayhe, Reza continued to learn more, beside of teaching guitar, until he decided to make a brand new oriental death metal band, Integral Rigor. The goal of Integral Rigor is to open a new window to achieve a new kind of composing in metal genre.

Integral Rigor is trying to use elements of Eastern music and will try to combine them with the modern composing systems and unlimited music tools so they can be entertaining and still make audience to think.
First Integral Rigor's album was self-released in 2011 in Iran and after selling the limited number of CD's, the band shared/uploaded it on the internet for free. Reza composed and performed the whole thing alone (all instruments + vocals).

After various member changes, Integral Rigor became a one-man project and Reza continued writing music and composed band's second album called "Alast". After a while Masoud Moghaddari (Electric guitar) and Shahriar Rajabpour (Bass) joined the band as permanent members and Alast has been release through "Mehrava" records. The band is looking forward to perform live shows and support the album.
