damn, 7 minutes and to think Wacken's Christmas-delivery tickets get a decent 8 hours at least. |

well there's a difference in tickets sold. Roadburn only has 2,500 tickets to sell whereas Wacken has a shitload more. And when RB tickets go on sale most of the line-up is already known whereas with Wacken only a couple of bands have been confirmed by then |
|
|
|
Plus you know that the RB line-up will be kick ass once again wiht loads of exlcusives whereas Wacken's will be boring once again with loads of mainstream stuff |

well, usually those 10.000 tickets sold for Wacken are actually "blind tickets", there are no bands announced just yet, but people who are into german power metal and things like that know that the festival will have lots of that. |

This sucks!
I'm going to miss Roadburn 2013 :/ |

Hopefully not... I don't want to worry about buying it! xD Then again... I did buy it exactly at the time it was open for sale.
50% ? You aren't sure about being there? |

I don't want to anger the Gods of Roadburn tickets by stating I will surely be there, even before the tickets go on sale |

Hah, good one... Which is why I didn't even put my name here. Maaan 7 minutes is just nuts they have to slow down at some point! |

It's crazy that you only have a 10 minute window to get a ticket. I just love how this fest works. We actually are trying to follow the RB model for a small fest we have going here. Walter is definitely an inspiration |

I think that has to do with the line up not being as strong as last year ? Well for me at least |

for me it's strponger already.
But I don't think the line-up has anything to do with it.
The problem is the tickets went on sale during a weekday night and two months earlier than usual, which also menas not as many bands have yet been booked as before. Uusally about more than half the line-up would already be known and now it's one third.
Another problem is no exclusive reunion shows such as The Obsessed and Winter and no headliner of the Neurosis calibre.
And it wouldn't surprise me if not many people from Spain and Greece and such will be buying tickets this year due to the economic crisis. |

Ah ok, yeah I remember tickets went on sale much later. I know the line up isn't complete, but for me last year was an awesome line up.
Well you've got you and Rod have your tickets, so enjoy |

It's way too early to say how strong or not strong this line up is though but if you ask me I think this is a fantastic start. |

True, some really good bands on the bill already, so lets see how it turns out.
Anyways I will probably get to see destruction, amorphis, overkill, iced earth, grave and a shit load of other bands, so it's not too bad either. |

Mournful Congregation and Nihill confirmed.
Damn, I would die to be up here on day 1. |
|

| Not being able to go this year pisses me off to no end. That line up is even more awesome than last year's. It's some sort of wet dream come true for me. Damn, I knew I should've got a ticket. |

| Yeah, but I wasn't sure I'd be able to afford the ticket + the trip when the tickets went on sale. Now I know I could afford it, which is why I'm a little angry. |

keep your eyes on the Roadburn Official Forums for tickets |

| I most certainly will. Problem is that last minute flights are incredibly expensive from here. Ah, we'll see. |

The Afterburner tickets are still available... You could try to get one and the flight and if you get lucky during the time between, you could score a regular Roadburn ticket. |
|
|
|
And if I can't score a regular ticket I'll wait three days in front of 013 for you and Grandpa to finish enjoying the shows so we can go back home. I can't decide if that's a great or a dumbass idea |

I can totally picture you sitting by the lamp post near the door like a lost puppy whimpering in a cold. "Spare a ticket, kind sir. No? Oh, ok then... Spare a ticket, kind sir. Ouch, alright-alright I'm going, you don't have to kick me." So sad... Poor Collin, I almost already feel sorry for him.
I. |
