The American post-metal behemoth Neurosis have revealed they are set to enter Electrical Audio Studio again with Steve Albini on December 27th to record a brand-new album and follow-up to 2012's Honor Found In Decay.
As their thirtieth anniversary nears, Neurosis will be hitting the road in their most extensive touring of the North American continent in over fifteen years this summer. Tickets for the impending tour are already on sale if you want to attend these shows. Not since prior to the turn of the millennium has the band embarked on a tour of this size. Between the end of July and the middle of August, they will tour throughout the Midwestern, East Coast, and Southern US states and the lower Eastern portion of Canada. They will also be playing in cities and states which they have not visited since the '90s.
Having recently performed at the Temples Festival in Bristol (UK), Neurosis have announced more live shows in Europe for this summer, continuing their voyage in support of their latest creation Honor Found In Decay. The Americans shall be heading to places they've never played before like Croatia and Greece. Maybe you can catch them live on some of these dates. Check them out here.
Over a year since the release of their tenth studio album Honor Found In Decay, Neurosis has locked down two new performances in their ongoing, sporadic live ceremonies in support of the album. The newly-confirmed concerts will take place at the cusp of the New Year, both in California, and both feature very special guests. These performances will feature direct support from Santa Cruz hardcore legends Bl'ast as well as mighty psychedelic doom trio Yob.
Neurosis worshipers will finally be able to show their devotion to the US metallers again in Europe as the band has just announced a trek for this upcoming May/June/July. The extensive European tour happens in support of their tenth album, Honor Found In Decay, released last October.
No, this is not a dream. There is actually a new supergroup called Corrections House featuring Scott Kelly (Neurosis), Mike IX Williams (Eyehategod), Sanford Parker (Nachtmystium) and Bruce Lamont (Yakuza). Little is known about what this lineup created, but they are launching the band with a US tour (which will also feature solo sets from the artists comprising the band) in January/February 2013.
