Moonspell - Debut Clip From New DVD

Portuguese metallers Moonspell have recently released the first video from the upcoming DVD/Blu-Ray/3CD package, Lisboa Under The Spell, which will be released on August 17th via Napalm Records (in Portugal exclusive distribution by Alma Mater Books & Records and Rastilho Records). You can enjoy the band performing one of their classics, "Alma Mater" at the Campo Pequeno arena in their hometown of Lisbon.

Tarja - Premieres Video From Live Album

Tarja has revealed a song from her brand new live album and video, Act II. The live version of "Undertaker" is taken from Tarja's live performance in Milan. The official live video is now available here. This autumn, Tarja will be touring all over Europe together with Stratovarius with "A Nordic Symphony '18".

Pantera - Drummer Vinnie Paul Dies At 54

Tragic news arrived this morning. Former Pantera and Damageplan founding member and drummer Vinnie Paul has lost his life. Vinnie Paul was currently playing in heavy metallers Hellyeah. Along with his brother, guitarist Dimebag Darrell, the legendary drummer Vincent Paul Abbott formed Pantera in 1981. As of yet, no cause of death has been revealed but his representatives have confirmed his passing.

Metal Allegiance - Releasing New Album, Share First Single

The group Metal Allegiance has announced the release of their second album, Volume II - Power Drunk Majesty, via Nuclear Blast Entertainment on September 7th, 2018. The thrash worshiping album merges old-school legends with the modern metallers of the scene. The list of musicians for Volume II - Power Drunk Majesty include Trevor Strnad (The Black Dahlia Murder), John Bush (Armored Saint), Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth (Overkill), Mark Tornillo (Accept), Max Cavalera (Soulfly), Floor Jansen (Nightwish), Johan Hegg (Amon Amarth). It also marks the return of Mark Oseguesda (Death Angel) and Troy Sanders (Mastodon).

MaYaN - Unveil New Orchestral Album Details

Earlier this year, MaYaN launched a crowdfunding campaign for their ambitious third album so that they would be able to record with a live symphonic orchestra. Today, we find out a lot more about this new record. For the third time since their inception in 2010, the now 10 piece symphonic death metal band has joined forces for a new album, and their latest opus is called Dhyana, due out on September 21st, 2018 via Nuclear Blast Records, with pre-orders starting next month. Accept - Announce New Live Release

Six months after the success that was The Rise Of Chaos world tour, the German heavy metal legends Accept will start their festival season on the 22nd of June at Rockfels Open Air, and will play headline shows at legendary Bang Your Head!!! in Balingen as well as at Rock am Stück festival and at Rock am Härtsfeldsee. They will finish the tour leg on July 28th as special guests to the legendary Judas Priest in Vienna. Over the past few months, the band has been anything but passive, instead they've been finalising their latest project, their upcoming live release Symphonic Terror - Live At Wacken 2017, which will be released on November 23rd via Nuclear Blast.

Mono - To Enter The Studio, Announce European Tour

Japanese post-rock masters Mono will enter the studio to record their new full-length release this July with Steve Albini (Zao, KEN Mode) helming the production. The band plans for a January release, with a first single due out in September. Additionally, Mono confirmed a string of dates for the 'Blue Blood Moon European Tour', scheduled for this coming fall. A Storm Of Light and Jo Quail will join them as support on the road.

Enslaved - Drummer Cato Bekkevold Quits The Band

Enslaved's drummer since 2003, Cato Bekkevold is calling it quits. He would like to spend more time with his daughter, and he is not perfect physically for drumming in the band anymore. His last show will be at Hellfest 2018 in France. The band has not announced a replacement yet, but Cato mentioned Iver Sandøy as a future drummer in his video announcing his retirement.

Misery Index - Tracking New Album

Misery Index has finally begun recording their new album to follow The Killing Gods (2014). You can start anticipating the crushing new material because drummer Adam Jarvis is in Florida this week tracking drums at Mana Recording with engineering maestro Erik Rutan.
