Anathema - To Release Cathedral Concert Film

You might remember that a while ago Anathema did a series of special cathedral shows. One of them was at Liverpool's cathedral and they filmed it. Directed by Lasse Hoile (Steven Wilson, Katatonia, Opeth), A Sort Of Homecoming is a stunning concert film of the band's homecoming show on March 7th 2015 in the spectacular setting of the Liverpool cathedral. Set for release on the 30th of October through Kscope, you can get a glimpse of their performance below.

Baroness - Announce New Album, Share New Song

Are you ready for some new Baroness material? You'd better be! While we haven't had much news from the Savannah, Georgia band in a while, today they just announced their new and fourth album. And with it, they also released a new song just now. Their new album is called Purple (and is due out December 18th via Relapse Records). It's their first with the new rhythm section, bassist Nick Jost and drummer Sebastian Thomson and since the 2012 bus accident. Avantasia - Jørn Lande On New Album And Tour

Last month, Tobias Sammet announced that he was working on a new Avantasia album to the delight of fans. The new album and a world tour will come in 2016 but there is more. The first guest vocalist for the new Avantasia album and tour has now been announced. None other than singer Jørn Lande (Masterplan, Jorn, Allen/Lande) will appear on Ghostlights (out in January).

Jaguar - New Vocalist Introduced

Jaguar are proud to announce the addition of Swedish vocalist L-G Persson (Steel Attack, The Storyteller) to their line-up. In September 2014, Jaguar parted company with their previous vocalist Jamie Manton following their appearance at Sweden Rock Festival in June the same year. Since then the band has been searching for the perfect vocalist both in the UK and Scandinavia, latterly though in Sweden as the band founder Garry Pepperd planned to move to Sweden to settle down with his Swedish born fiancée.
