Helevorn - Part Ways With Drummer, Replacement Announced

According to one of the recent Facebook posts, Jose Manuel Ordoñez is the new Helevorn drummer. He is the third new addition in the ranks in less than one year after the departure of founding guitarist Samuel Morales and keyboardist Enrique Sierra last summer. Jose Manuel will replace Xavi Gil, who has decided to leave the band due personal issues. Helevorn are currently working on new material.

German pagan war machine Wolfchant share a brand new song/ animated video, called "70000 Tons Of Metal". It is their first new song in 4 years. As the name already implies, it's dedicated to 70000 Tons Of Metal event. Memory Garden - New Album In Mixing Stage

Almost 8 years after the release of Doomain, Swedish doom veterans Memory Garden now reveal that the work on the follow-up is underway. New album is currently in the mixing stage, handled by the legendary Dan Swanö. Hopefully the new music officially arrives later this year.

To/Die/For - To Reunite For A Special Live Event Next Summer

Finland's To/Die/For have excited news to share. The five-piece has decided to reunite for one special live show next summer, where they will play songs from the first two albums - All Eternity (2000) and Epilogue (2001). To/Die/For will perform live at John Smith Rock Festival, taking place from 22 to 24 July in Peurunka, Laukaa - approx. 25 km from Jyväskylä (Finland).

Drug Honkey - Former Member Died

Scott Wolfe, known under pseudonym Drunk Honkey, died. He was a drummer of the avantgarde doom metal band Drug Honkey between 2006 and 2011. The band also confirmed that the new record is coming up in 2021, dubbed Medicated Life.

Scald - New EP In February, Former Member Passed Away

Viking-theme inspired doom metal band Scald announce the release of a new EP in February. Entitled There Flies Our Wail, it will be released by High Roller Records and features one new song, called "There Flies Our Wail", as well as a new version of the classic "Eternal Stone". The five-piece from Russia also confirmed, that their former bassist Oleg "Einar" Rybak has recently passed away at the age of 43.
