Mägo De Oz - Founding Guitarist Dies

A long time ago, Mägo De Oz was born in 1989 and guitarist Pedro Pablo Diaz was one of the Spanish band's three founding members. He would leave the band in 1990 but played on their first demo. It was another founding member, drummer Txus di Fellatio, still in the band, who announced the sad news.

Vanhelga - Debut New Video

Back in October, Vanhelga released their latest album, Ode & Elegy. Now, the Swedish black metal group has premiered a video of the track "Utan Mening". Directed by J. Ejnarsson, the video features A. Rohtsalu in the role of a depressed young woman who is slipping further and further into darkness and despair, from which she is unable to escape. Sirenia - Debut New Music Video

Sirenia have just released their brand new studio album, Dim Days Of Dolor, and to celebrate that, they also debuted a brand new video clip for the title track. This is the symphonic band's first album with new singer Emmanuelle Zoldan, who replaced Ailyn this year. The video was shot in Stockholm together with director Owe Lingwall and also features singer Joakim Næss. Enjoy!

System Of A Down - Drummer Confirms Work On New Album

After announcing a European tour, there are now reports that System Of A Down are indeed working on a new album, which will be their first since Mezmerize and Hypnotize, both released in 2005. In a new interview with Kerrang!, drummer John Dolmayan revealed that the band has so far written fifteen songs during the last six months or so.

Ophis - Part Ways With Drummer And Guitarist

German death doom metal act Ophis has parted ways with drummer Nils Groth. He will play his very last show at the Doom Over Bucharest 2016 on November 25th. Guitarist Martin Reibold is also no longer in the band. They will be replaced by Steffen Brandes (drums) and Simon Schorneck​ (guitars).

Arch Enemy - New DVD Coming In 2017, Announce Shows

Earlier this year, Arch Enemy revealed that they filmed a new live DVD. Now, the melodic death metal band has announced As The Stages Burn!, which features one of their largest stage production to date from their performance last summer at the Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany. The DVD highlights an impressive live production! As The Stages Burn! is scheduled for a worldwide release through Century Media Records on March 31st, 2017. More details will be revealed soon. Babymetal - To Release Live CD

The Japanese metal sensation Babymetal just announced the release of a live album for December. It's called Live At Wembley and the CD will be available on December 9th, 2016 and digitally on December 30th. The 13-track album was recorded at the London venue in April, when the band became the first Japanese band to play there.
