Oathbreaker - Premiere New Video

Belgium metallers Oathbreaker will soon be releasing their third studio album, entitled Rheia. Darkthrone - Debut Brand New Song

Just a few days ago, Darkthrone revealed that their new album would be called Arctic Thunder and showed the album artwork. The Norwegian duo return with their first new studio material since 2013's triumphant The Underground Resistance, the album becoming the band's most successful release in recent years. Insomnium - Share Third Part Album Trailer

Broken Hope - Reveal New Album First Details

Broken Hope are about to unleash Mutilated & Assimilated. That is the title of their next album and follow-up to Omen Of Disease (2013). It pays tribute to John Carpenter's take on 'The Thing'. While the release date hasn't been revealed yet, all of the rhythm tracks were played on guitars originally owned by late Slayer guitarist Jeff Hanneman. The death metallers have been working in the studio to create the next release.

Cryhavoc - Vocalist Dies

According to Finnish metal magazine Inferno, former melodic death metallers Cryhavoc vocalist Kaapro Ikonen has just passed away. Kaapro Ikonen was always the singer of Cryhavoc from their inception in 1992 until they disbanded in 1999. He lost his battle with cancer.

Havok - Kicked Off Tour With Megadeth

Havok announced on their Facebook page they will not take part in the upcoming Megadeth U.S. tour with Amon Amarth, Suicidal Tendencies and Metal Church, the reason being that they were "offered an unacceptable management contract" from Mustaine Management, headed up by Dave Mustaine's son Justis. Whether Havok will be replaced on the aforementioned tour is unknown for now. However, Dave Mustaine has denied Havok's statement on Twitter.

Faith No More - Reuniting With Chuck Mosley For Two Shows In California

Alternative metal icons Faith No More will reunite with former singer Chuck Mosley for two shows in California this week in celebration of the reissue of their long-out of print 1985 debut album, We Care A Lot, which is due for release this Friday via KoolArrow Records. The first date will take place tomorrow (August 18th) in San Francisco at the Great American Music Hall. The second show will take place two days later at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, and will be an acoustic set.

Slayer guitarist Kerry King recently told Jägermeister that the band has some leftover material for their follow-up to last year's Repentless, but has no plans to re-enter the studio until at around 2018. So, don't expect a new Slayer album in the near future.
