Amon Amarth - Announce U.S. And European Tours

Amon Amarth have two new updates regarding upcoming shows. This September/October, the Swedish metal kings will return to the USA as direct support to the mighty Megadeth. Suicidal Tendencies, Metal Church, and Havok are also on the bill. As far as Europe goes, they also announced the final shows and support. They will do a trek with Testament and Grand Magus on select dates, and finish it all off with Behemoth in Scandinavia! Support for all dates in Germany, France and Italy to be announced soon. All shows happen in support of their newest 10th studio album, Jomsviking.

Opeth - Share New Album Cover, Tracklist And More

Opeth have recently revealed the first details of their new album and today fans can discover the cover art, tracklist and much more about Sorceress. This is their first release via the band's imprint label Moderbolaget Records/Nuclear Blast and drops this September 30th. The band will return to Europe this November for a headline tour. Guns N' Roses - Detained At Canadian Border For Gun Possession

Guns N' Roses was detained at the Canadian border for having a gun on board, frontman Axl Rose revealed to a sold-out crowd of 50,000 at Toronto's Rogers Centre Saturday night (July 16th). The singer waited until the evening's 18th song, "Out Ta Get Me," before telling the story. At least they are being true to their band name. Guns N' Roses are currently on the road on their Not In This Lifetime tour, with Rose joined in the lineup by guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan. Original drummer Steven Adler also joined the band onstage recently, appearing at shows in Nashville and Cincinnati.

Chicago Open Air - Fan Dies After Fall At The Festival

A 29-year-old North Side man died tragically this Friday night after falling two stories from a railing to the pavement below on opening night of the three-day Chicago Open Air Festival at Toyota Park in Bridgeview. The Chicago Sun-Times reports that just after 10 p.m., Robert Smucz was sitting on a railing watching the concert on the mezzanine level of Toyota Park at 7000 Harlem Avenue when he fell two stories to the cement pavement below, according to city spokesman Ray Hanania.

An Abstract Illusion - Stream Windir Cover

Hailing from the Swedish town of Boden, the progressive death metal trio An Abstract Illusion will release a new album, Illuminate The Path, this 27th of July 2016. This is the debut album from band. Megadeth - Bassist Breaks Foot, Cancel Shows

On July 15th, Megadeth were slated to perform at the Rockmaraton Festival in Dunaujvaros, Hungary, but had to cancel the show when bassist David Ellefson broke his foot backstage before the band went on. After planning to save the show, mainman Dave Mustaine informed the crowd that Megadeth would not be playing. The thrash band has canceled the remaining two shows on their European tour, including the Harley Days festival in Slovakia Saturday night and the Masters Of Rock festival in the Czech Republic on Sunday, July 17th.

Life Of Agony - Announce Tour Dates

Brooklyn-based Life Of Agony recently signed a worldwide record deal with Napalm Records. They are currently hard at work on their new album and Napalm Records debut A Place Where There's No More Pain, which is due in early 2017. Unfortunately last week drummer Sal Abruscato was injured causing LOA to cancel their upcoming European tour dates, but fear not. Sal will be fully recovered soon and the band will be returning to Europe this November. The European jaunt kicks off November 13th in Vienna, Austria and runs through December 10th in Aalborg, Denmark. Life Of Agony will also be playing two special shows in the Northeast this fall.
