Good news for fans of the German thrash metal veterans Exumer! The group will enter a studio in Dortmund, Germany on October 19th to begin recording the follow-up to their 2012 album Fire & Damnation for an early 2016 release. The band will once again work with producer Waldemar Sorychta (Sodom, Moonspell, Grip Inc., Tiamat). Exumer's new album is set to be released via Metal Blade Records in early 2016, and marks the 4th output in the band's 30 year history. Stay tuned for more details coming soon.

The band elaborates in their official website about the root of the cancelation. Basically, it was impossible to scale down the arena show and technical equipment needed to perform in a small club without compromising the musical quality.
