Exumer - To Enter The Studio For New Album

Good news for fans of the German thrash metal veterans Exumer! The group will enter a studio in Dortmund, Germany on October 19th to begin recording the follow-up to their 2012 album Fire & Damnation for an early 2016 release. The band will once again work with producer Waldemar Sorychta (Sodom, Moonspell, Grip Inc., Tiamat). Exumer's new album is set to be released via Metal Blade Records in early 2016, and marks the 4th output in the band's 30 year history. Stay tuned for more details coming soon.

Scorpions - Berlin Show Cancelled

Scorpions have announced that their Berlin (Germany) concert, scheduled for November 3rd is cancelled due to technical problems. The band elaborates in their official website about the root of the cancelation. Basically, it was impossible to scale down the arena show and technical equipment needed to perform in a small club without compromising the musical quality.

Eluveitie - Drummer Hospitalized

Swiss metallers Eluveitie have announced that drummer Merlin Sutter won't be able to play 2 shows. He has pneumonia and an infection caused by an insect bite on his recent travels and has been hospitalized even though he is recovering. However, the band will not cancel the shows and Diego Rapacchietti will replace Sutter temporarily.

Protest The Hero - Launch Subscription Song Platform, Release New Song

Canadian prog group Protest The Hero have announced a new Bandcamp service, a subscription platform entitled "Pacific Myth". New songs will be released on a monthly basis to those who have paid the subscription fee; a 12-month subscription costs $12/year, with a higher $25/year subscription also including a docu-series based on the recording and release process for previous album Volition. The first song, "Ragged Tooth", was uploaded now.
