Corrosion Of Conformity - New Album Details Revealed

Stoner group Corrosion Of Conformity have finally concluded the work on their new album. The band has also confirmed a June 23rd as the European and 24th as the North American release date for IX, as it will be called. Produced by the band and long-time comrade John Custer, the album and lead single "On Your Way" will be available for preorders via ITunes, Amazon, and other popular outlets beginning May 13th.

As I Lay Dying - Update On Band's Future, New Projects (Update)

UPDATE: It seems like there are new chapters to this story. After an update was posted on As I Lay Dying official website, now it has been revealed by the band's other members that it was not discussed within the band or with the management, implying the statement was released only by Tim Lambesis. On a message posted on guitarist Nick Hipa's Facebook page, all the members of As I Lay Dying except Tim Lambesis explain that this statement was new to them. Well, that was bizarre.

The Skull - Two Singles Streaming Online

Machine Head - Killers & Kings Tour Dates Announced

The Americans Machine Head started to announce the first round of tour dates in 2014 for North America and Europe as well. The Killers & Kings Tour will serve as an album primer for more dates in November/December, but more importantly it will hit numerous cities that Machine Head hasn't headlined in for over a decade, or in several cases, never headlined, or even played, at all. Machine Head are currently in the studio recording their eighth album for a summer 2014 release.

Tiamat - Frontman Johan Edlund Leaving The Band

The end might be near for gothic metallers Tiamat. The veteran band will lose its frontman since Johan "Hellslaughter" Edlund announced that he is leaving the group. He posted a message on the band's Facebook page explaining that his health no longer allows him to continue and if the band wants to move on without him, it's their decision. Johan will still perform on the summer festivals and then it's over, at least for him.

Dråpsnatt - Sign To Nordvis Produktion, New Album Update

Having released new material from Stilla and Skogen, Nordvis Produktion now presents the signing of Dråpsnatt. The black metal duo from northern Sweden have three albums to their name before signing on with Nordvis; 2009's I Denna Skog, 2010's Hymner Till Undergången and the 2012 release Skelepht. Besides procuring the rights for two upcoming albums, the first of which is planned to be recorded in the summer of 2014, the deal also means that their 2010 album Hymner Till Undergången will be re-released by Nordvis in the coming months. Stay tuned for more news regarding this in the near future.
