American tech metallers Inanimate Existence will soon be looking for a new vocalist as Cameron Porras will start focusing on guitar but on the band's next album, and live shows, he will still be doing the majority of the vocals. The death metallers are currently working on the follow-up to Liberation Through Hearing.

Empyrium - First Ever DVD To Be Released In August
June 11th, 2011, was a landmark date in Empyrium's history. After more than 15 years, Schwadorf and Helm played their very first show ever on that day, taking place at the Wave Gotik Treffen in the Pantheon of Volkspalast, Leipzig. For this memorable event, the two core members put together an illustrious concert line-up who had rehearsed pieces from every creative phase of Empyrium as well as the new, so-far unreleased song "Dead Winter Ways".

Almah - Unveil New Album Cover And Title
Almah have set Unfold as the title of their fourth album, which is coming out later this year to follow Motion. The album is currently being recorded in São Paulo, Brazil at the Do It! Studio of Edu and Tito Falaschi. The heavy/power metal band has also revealed the album's cover artwork which was designed by Nathalia Suellen (Lady Symphonia), an artist from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Australian metallers Ne Obliviscaris have seen their song "And Plague Flowers The Kaleidoscope" from their debut album Portal Of I included in a teaching curriculum at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, one of Australia's most prestigious classical Conservatories. The song will undergo a compositional analysis by Professor Matthew Hindson, Chair of Composition at the Conservatorium. "And Plague Flowers The Kaleidoscope" will be studied as part of the curriculum.
