Behemoth - Charges Against Nergal Dismissed In Merch Case

If you have been following the case involving Behemoth's frontman Adam "Nergal" Darski, who was formally charged by Polish authorities for allegedly disrespecting one of the country's national symbols, alongside Maciej G., who promoted the tour, there's a new update now. According to the musician, those charges have now been dismissed. Nergal also promised that the design would return to the Behemoth merch store soon.

Behemoth - Announce New Live DVD Release

Polish death metallers Behemoth just announced a new DVD and Blu-ray release. Messe Noire will be available on April 13th, 2018 and the pre-orders are now live here. Messe Noire includes the band's shows in Warsaw, Poland on October 8th, 2016 and Brutal Assault 2016 as well as The Satanist cinematic archive featuring all official videos associated with the band's successful record of the same name.

Behemoth - Frontman Formally Charged With Disrespecting Poland's National Coat Of Arms

Behemoth's frontman Adam "Nergal" Darski has been formally charged by Polish authorities for allegedly disrespecting one of the country's national symbols. The case, referred to court by the District Prosecutor's Office in Gdańsk, northern Poland, involves the band's "Republic Of The Unfaithful" tour artwork and merchandise, which is said to be "insulting" to the national coat of arms of Poland.

Behemoth - To Be Rejoined By Former Members At Merry Christless Shows

Behemoth's December 14th and December 15th "Merry Christless" shows at Progresja in Warsaw, Poland will feature special live performances from former drummer Adam "Baal Ravenlock" Muraszko and former guitarist/bassist Leszek "Les" Dziegielewski, both part of the Grom album line-up. Behemoth - Merch Design Under Polish Criminal Investigation

Behemoth are in trouble with the Polish authorities again, this time over a merchandise design. You might remember that guitarist/vocalist Adam "Nergal" Darski faced up to two years in prison for tearing apart a bible on stage and calling it "a book of lies" (later he was cleared of the charges, and then the decision was appealed). It seems that the Polish authorities have taken issue with the "Republic Of The Unfaithful" design allegedly for disrespecting the White Eagle, which is found on the national coat of arms of Poland.

Behemoth - Drummer Jon Rice To Fill In For Inferno

Polish extreme metallers Behemoth have announced that drummer Jon Rice (Scorpion Child, ex-Job For A Cowboy) will be performing in their summer North American tour with Slayer and Lamb Of God. Rice has been asked to fill in for longtime Behemoth drummer Inferno.

Behemoth - To Tour With Slayer And Lamb Of God

Behemoth have announced a tour of heavy-hitters. The Polish extreme metallers will join forces with Slayer and Lamb Of God for a "Satan-approved triple bill of Biblical proportions" Summer tour in the United States. The tour starts on July 12th in Bemidji, MN and wraps up in Phoenix, AZ on August 20th.

Behemoth - Announce Second Leg Of Euro Tour

Behemoth just confirmed the second leg of their European tour. The death metallers have just finished the first part of their successful Europa Blasphemia Tour this past Sunday in Ljubljana. The tour led Behemoth through 15 different cities with 10 of the shows being completely sold out, and marked the biggest headline run in the band's history. The second part of the Europa Blasphemia Tour will kick off on October 20th in Wiesbaden, Germany and will feature black metallers Mgła and Secrets Of The Moon as support acts. It's looking promising!

Behemoth - To Play Entire 'The Satanist' Album On Euro Tour

Polish death metallers Behemoth will perform their critically acclaimed album, The Satanist, in its entirety on the band's upcoming European run in early 2016 (January/February). They also plan to bring a brand new exhibition concept, The Congregation, on tour. The exhibition will be dubbed "A Symbiosis Of Behemoth And Toxic Vision" and will showcase collaborative work between Behemoth and Toxic Vision, the artist that Behemoth has been working closely with over the past few years in terms of stage outfits, music videos, stage/photo props and such.

The XXIV Polish YACH film awards have one of Behemoth's videos among their nominees. Polish death metal blasphemers Behemoth have launched a preorder of a new vinyl/CD today. It is Live At The BBC, which contains four tracks, played live at The BBC/ Maida Vale Studios, recorded for The Radio 1 Rock Show with Daniel P. Carter, on the 8th of December 2014.
