Children Of Bodom's "Chaos Ridden Years - Stockholm Knockout Live" has had its U.S. release date pushed back to October 24 from the previously announced October 10. The DVD will be issued in Finland on October 11 and the rest of Europe on October 16.

Also, note that the DVD+2CD "Deluxe Sound & Vision" edition of "Chaos Ridden Years - Stockholm Knockout Live" will only be available in continental Europe via Universal. Spinefarm Records will not release this version in Finland and it will not be issued in the U.S.

Children Of Bodom were set to make an appearance at the Polish Metal festival "Hunterfest" in Szczytno, but due to organization problems and problems with the promoter, the Extreme Power Metallers have been forced to make a cancellation. The band is regretful that the cancellation happened as they haven't played in Poland for years and are sorry that it was such short notice.

Here is a small comment by the band: "There are many things that went wrong, we are sorry that people who bought tickets to see us are the ones who suffer the most!"

It was only a matter of time until Nuclear Blast released another Deluxe Edition of another Children Of Bodom album after the two very successful Deluxe Editions of Something Wild and Hatebreeder. Aside from the nine known songs there will be the W.A.S.P. cover "Hellion" and the Iron Maiden cover "Aces High", (which was never released on a Children Of Bodom CD before) as bonus on the disc. The 'Everytime I Die' video will be featured as well. There likely won't be any more Deluxe Editions since only the first three Children Of Bodom albums were licensed by Nuclear Blast.

Henkka revealed that the next Children Of Bodom studio album will be recorded in Helsinki with Mikko Karmila but not in the Finnvox studios. It's not known yet if the recordings which where scheduled for March will be delayed due to Alexi's broken arm.

The release date of the album will be:

and 03.09.2005 in the rest of the world through Universal.

But of course these dates can get postponed if the recordings will be delayed...

According to the CHILDREN OF BODOM fan site Scythes-of-Bodom.com, CHILDREN OF BODOM guitarist Alexi Laiho broke his arm and will most likely be forced to sit out the upcoming "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott (DAMAGEPLAN, PANTERA) tribute concert that is scheduled to be held in Helsinki, Finland on January 15, 2005. Laiho's replacement for the concert will be announced at a later date.

CHILDREN OF BODOM's upcoming EP, Trashed, Lost & Strungout, which is set for a late summer release will feature two new songs, and a number of covers, has been released. ALICE COOPER's 'Bed of Nails', and ANDREW W.K's 'She Is Beautiful' will be the featured cover songs according to Finnish paper Sonera Plaza.
