Rage Against The Machine - Live DVD Coming In September

It has been a while since Rage Against The Machine released a live album (or any album for that matter) but that is about to change. On September 11th, 2015, Eagle Rock Entertainment releases Live At Finsbury Park by Rage Against The Machine. This is a simultaneous release on DVD, Blu-ray and digital formats. For now, you can watch the anthem "Killing In The Name" taken from the show below and bang your head.

Rage - New Line-Up Revealed

Peter "Peavy" Wagner and Victor Smolski of Rage declared the end of their musical collaboration at the beginning of February 2015. Since André Hilgers also had to leave his place behind the drums, rumors were running high and there was even talk about Rage would call it quits. Though Peavy made it clear that the new line-up of the band was already positioned, the names of his new band mates remained untold. Now the wait has come to an end - the new line-up of Rage has been revealed. The new studio album is about to be finalized and will be released in spring 2016.

Nightrage - New Album Streaming Online

The melodeath group Nightrage are currently streaming their latest work, The Puritan. Recorded in their new home of Gothenburg, Sweden and featuring a member named "Anders," this is a case where stereotypes won't lead you far from what sound to expect. Nightrage - Two New Videos Released

As the release date for The Puritan approaches, Nightrage are getting more generous and have debuted two new songs recently in quick succession. The first of which was "Desperate Vows" and you can listen to that song through the lyric video made by Crystal Light Productions below. But the melodic death metallers have also shared a video clip for the tune "Stare Into Infinity". Despite a few years without releasing a new album, now you have plenty of new tunes to revel in.

Rage - Announce End Of Current Line-Up, Peavy Wagner Clarifies (Update)

UPDATE: Earlier this week, Nuclear Blast Records announced the end of Rage and later changed it to "end of the current line-up of Rage" leaving a bit of doubt in the air about what was happening after all. Now, the bassist/vocalist Peter "Peavy" Wagner has clarified the band situation and confirms that the band is not over, that it's just the end of an era. He says Rage will continue with a new line-up and that you can expect more news about that soon.

Rage - Classic Line-Up Reunites, Planning Festival Appearances

Vocalist/bassist Peavy Wagner, guitarist Manni Schmidt and drummer Christos Efthimiadis, who released five albums in one of the most successful lineups of Rage, have reunited in the band called Refuge. Since 1994, the three musicians have played with different bands and continued to follow their own paths: Peavy with Rage, Manni with Grave Digger and Christos with Tri State Corner. Refuge are already confirmed for Sweden Rock Festival 2015.

Nightrage - New Label, Enter The Studio In September

Recently, Nightrage have signed an album deal with Despotz Records. Yes, the melodic death metal band will finally release the follow-up to Insidious (2011). In fact, the group is entering the Dugout Studio (in Uppsala, Sweden) with Daniel Bergstrand on September 15th to record the new opus. A new single/video will be out this fall and the yet untitled album will surface in February 2015. Ronnie Nyman will lend his voice to the new release.

Rage Nucléaire - New Song Streaming Online

Canadian extreme metallers Rage Nucléaire, the band of ex-Cryptopsy vocalist Dan "Lord Worm" Greening, are now unleashing the first new track taken from their brand new full-length Black Storm Of Violence. The band released their debut Unrelenting Fucking Hatred in 2012 and this is their first new material since then. Heavy metallers Rage are preparing to celebrate their 30th band anniversary with the release of a unique collection of songs from their back catalogue. The Soundchaser Archives will contain 30 tracks on two CDs, covering everything from previously unreleased material or versions, demo recordings to fractions of ideas that finally went to find clear sonic ground. Additionally, it will contain a bonus DVD including the Rage performance of last year's Masters Of Rock festival.
