To-Mera - Going On Hiatus
Official statement from the band:
We have much news to bear. As is often the case with 'news', some of it is good, and some of it less good. The less good news, as some of you may have gathered, is that we have put To-Mera on ice for the time being. Essentially, now is the time for each of us to focus on various other things in our lives, be they other bands and projects or just life in general, and as anyone who is or has been in a band will know, things only work properly when everyone is on the same page. Until that day...

To-Mera - Replace Bassist
Lee Barrett has stepped down as bass player for To-Mera. It was a decision made at the beginning of the year and a replacement is already in place.
Mark Harrington, also in Demagogue MySpace], is now the new bass player, so please wish him a warm welcome into the fold!
"I've had a great time playing with the band, but unfortunately my "real life" work dictated that I was unable to fulfil any possible future touring or musical commitments. It was only fair to the rest of the band that I left now rather than encounter any potential scheduling conflicts at a later date. I shall hopefully still be involved behind the scenes and taking care of the band's day-to-day business as I have been before, so I'll still be sticking around. Cheers for everyone's support over the last couple of years!" said Lee upon leaving the band.

To-Mera - New Album E-Card Available
An e-card for To-Mera's forthcoming album, entitled "Delusions", can be accessed at this location.
"Delusions" will be out on February 18 via Candlelight Records. The cover artwork of the album was done by Eliran Kantor.
Regarding the new CD's musical direction, Candlelight Records adds:
"Now with their second album "Delusions", To-Mera have once again pushed their musical ideas forward to ever greater heights. All the elements present on the last album have been greatly expanded upon. The music displays a much broader range of moods, tempos and dynamics, ranging from fragile subtlety to epic bombast via everything in between. The result is a more sophisticated, melodic and coherent album, teeming with massively heavy riffing, challenging rhythms and jaw-dropping technicality. The vocals of front woman Julie Kiss have become substantially more versatile and powerful, taking on a jazzier tone that befits the more adventurous musical output. To-Mera have succeeded in creating a daring and forward-thinking metal album, defined by a belief that the term "progressive" is not simply a genre tag."

To-Mera - New Samples Available
October 22, 2007
Hi folks
We decided to let you into a sneak preview of the new album "Delusions" that's coming out early next year. There's three brand new samples up on our page for you to check out. A full song will be uploaded in a couple of weeks, so hopefully this will keep you going until then
We've gone for a far more progressive approach musically this time around, and Julie's voice has emcompassed a jazzy style that befits the nature of a lot of the material. These samples don't even come close to portraying the overall variation of styles and moods, but will hopefully give you a rough idea.
Cheers!
