Inquisition - New Album Details And Trailer Unveiled

Black metal duo Inquisition recently announced that they named their forthcoming album Obscure Verses For The Multiverse but the rest of it has only been unveiled today. The band's sixth full-length has been scheduled for an October 25th in Europe (October 29th in North America) release via Season Of Mist. Mark your calendars, see the cover artwork, tracklist as well as a video trailer below. The trailer features the first bits of new music since Ominous Doctrines Of The Perpetual Mystical Macrocosm, so you better listen to it.

Epica - 'Retrospect' Release Detailed

Dutch symphonic metal band Epica celebrated their 10th anniversary with a one-night-only event dubbed Retrospect. The band was accompanied by the seventy piece Extended Reményi Ede Chamber Orchestra and the Choir of Miskolc National Theatre, playing a 3-hours best-of set in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, this past March. Today, the band has unveiled the cover, tracklist and release date of Retrospect. On November 8th, Nuclear Blast will release it as a deluxe hardcover book with 48 pages both as a 2DVD/3CD and 2Blu-ray/3CD version.

Arkona - New Album Update, New Shows Announced

Following the release of the live album Decade Of Glory, Russian folk metallers Arkona have been hard at work in the studio recording their new album and successor to Slovo. After the bass lines, now the band has completed recording all the guitar parts. The vocal recordings will be next. After the reveal of their new album title as The Mediator Between The Head And Hands Must Be The Heart, obviously trying to rival with Nile in terms of length, thrash metallers Sepultura have today unveiled the cover art that will grace their new release. Daniel de Jongh - Singer Joins Rock Opera Video Game Karmaflow

Have you ever heard of Karmaflow? Maybe the gamers have. Karmaflow will be a unique 3D platform/puzzle adventure game featuring several rock/metal singers, a band and the famous Dutch Metropole Orchestra. The game is a project led by Ivo van Dijk, drummer and composer for Xystus who wrote the rock opera Equilibrio in 2008. Many well known metal singers are part of the cast for the game and soundtrack and the latest one to be announced is Daniel de Jongh, Textures' vocalist. The goal is to release the game next year for PC/Mac.
