Remember Convulse? The Finns are returning to the scene 18 years after they split up to spread some more death metal. The band plans to release a vinyl EP with two brand new tracks in November and then a new full-length album in 2013 via Svart Records. Convulse will also perform at Maryland Deathfest 2013.

Heavenwood have released Abyss Masterpiece last year but now they unveiled a visual treat for us to enjoy. "Morning Glory Clouds (In Manus Tuas Domine)" was the chosen song and M. Webber and J. S. German power metallers Gamma Ray have announced Michael Ehré (Metalium) as the band's new drummer. He will replace longtime drummer Daniel Zimmermann who left the band. Gamma Ray broke the news to a German magazine and made the announcement through a video recorded at the Hammer Recording Studios in Hamburg. You can watch the announcement below.

Deftones have announced that their seventh studio album and follow-up to Diamond Eyes will be called Koi No Yokan, which is set for release on November 13th. The album was recorded in Los Angeles with Nick Raskulinecz (Alice In Chains, Foo Fighters, Rush) who also produced Diamond Eyes.
