It may be impressive in terms of figures, but I think the festival is getting too big for its own good. I'm pretty sure next year (if not maybe this year too) they'll increase the number of tickets to 80.000 or something, and so on. |

Maybe they will. Why they haven't done it yet has problably something too do with security and they fact that they are responsible for people within the festival area. |

The lineup so far is actually quite decent for Wacken at this early time. Anthrax, Deep Purple, Ihsahn, Haggard, Amorphis, Candlemass, ...
Sounds a lot better than Wacken 2012 same time last year. Only I have a slight feeling they will fuck up the good pace during the christmas calendar announcements.
Edit: Oh, and it's also pretty certain that Dodheimsgard will play as they had to cancel this year. |
