Leprous - Reveal New Album Cover And Tracklist

The cover and tracklist for Leprous' new album is out in the open! We already knew that the Norwegian proggers would be releasing a new album titled The Congregation, but now we know much more about it. The album's slightly disturbing artwork, which was created by artist Nihil, has now been launched and here is also the tracklist for the 65 minutes long release.

The Congregation is set to hit stores on May 25th, 2015 in Europe and June 2nd, 2015 in North America via InsideOutMusic. This is also the band's first album with new drummer Baard Kolstad and frontman Einar Solberg described it as the "most daring, technical, fresh and mature album we've ever done."

Tracklist:
01. The Price
02. Third Law
03. Rewind
04. The Flood
05. Triumphant
06. Within My Fence
07. Red
08. Slave
09. Moon
10. Down
11. Lower

Leprous comment on the cover artwork as follows: "The artwork represents the album's dark theme very well by showing deformation and disturbance."

The band is currently busy working on the new album's first video clip together with Twitchy Films, who also worked on the band's previous clips. Stay tuned for new music coming soon!

Don't like the cover tbh. Can't wait for the album, as the last three records of them have all bean great.

"The artwork represents the album's dark theme very well by showing deformation and disturbance." I do like the cover if that is the case, and the artist has some amazing stuff on his website. Very much looking forward to a more dark themed Leprous, though they've always been a bit dark to me.

It's not that bad. Part of the problem is that the album cover is monochromatic, including the band logo and album title. It makes it look more dull. Plus, I do prefer the full image of that insect. But I think Nihil has better examples of deformation and disturbance on his website. http://www.nihil.fr/artwork/in-utero/

Yes, I think they could have used a better example to disturb, this is mostly awful to look at. But I guess if that's what they wanted, they achieved it. So pumped to hear the record though
