Hate - Part Ways With Guitarist, Announce Live Session Member
Spring is in the air which apparently means yet another round of line-up changes for the Polish death metal outfit Hate.
Almost two years ago the band suffered a huge loss with the unexpected death of their bassist Mortifer while on tour in Europe. Last Spring, their longtime drummer Hexen decided to leave the band and now their guitarist followed suit.
According to the band's Facebook page: "Hate have parted ways with guitarist Destoyer after 9 years due to different priorities between him and the rest of the band. We would like to thank him for his contribution through out all those years and wish him all the best in his future endeavours. For live shows he will be replaced by Dominik "Domin" Prykiel (ed. guitarist at Vedonist; pictured below), who is already taking part in the European tour within the band's ranks."

Comments from Destroyer: "After 9 years I retract my position as a guitar player for Hate. The main reason in this fact is that artistically I cannot see myself in this band anymore. I have to admit that there is no conflict between us and it's my own independent decision, respected by other band members. I took part in recording of four albums, supporting the idea of Hate in all aspects and I'm proud of what we have done and achieved together through the years. I went with this band through amazing times and also the worst ones. Now it's time for me to turn into another direction. I'm absolutely sure the band will continue it's way with proper replacement. Sooner or later, all things comes to an end and in my case, this circle is complete. I wish to thank all Hate fans around the world, you gave me a lot of motivation and support.
"I have now personally chosen to focus on my other music projects and activities. As some of you know I'm quite busy with my school Rockstarguitar - Lekcje Gry na Gitarze/Guitar Tuition and also involved in writing music for my different extreme-music projects. You have not heard the last of me, on the contrary. It's all about to begin!"
