Muses Of Metal Fest - Cancelled

Since Emily Alice Ovenden left the band last year, Pythia have been fronted by the new singer Sophie Dorman. Unfortunately, they just announced that the Muses Of Metal Fest has been cancelled after Draconian pulled out. The festival was supposed to take place in Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom, on May 7th.

The band explained: "We received news from the promoter yesterday that due to Draconian being unable to perform they have decided to cancel the festival. We tried our best to convince them to keep the festival on but it was not to be. We are of course very disappointed at this news especially as we know a number of you had already booked and paid for trains, hotels etc to be able to attend the festival. We are talking to a couple of the other bands who were due to perform at the festival and we hoping to organise a show on that date so that you guys can still have a show to enjoy. We shall keep you posted."

Festival organizers say: "We come to you with some bad news today - Draconian have pulled out Muses Of Metal festival due to visa issues. We have worked hard over the last few days since receiving this news to try and find a replacement headliner, but sadly this looks unlikely at this point. As such we have had to make some difficult decisions, and have decided that cancelling the festival is our best option as we can no longer offer the full show promised. We are greatly saddened by this, but this comes down to matter completely out of our hands. To everyone that purchased a ticket and supported us in the project: thank you. Please accept our apologies at this time. Full refunds of the ticket cost will be made over the next few days."
