Rotting Christ - To Release 7" EP With Necromantia

The year 2016 carried its own symbolism for Black Vomit Records, marking its 10th anniversary. Starting as a tape label back in 2006, Black Vomit Records enters its new decade with the opening of pre-orders for a special edition split 7" EP called Primordial Evil, between Greece's leading black metal acts, Necromantia and Rotting Christ.

According to the label's Facebook page, the uniqueness of this split, except the undeniable and unquestionable quality of the participants, lies, and is also indicated by the very ideological concept and the context of the release. The participating acts follow the ideological manifestation of the label, by paying homage to earlier generations, forming an "atypical musical progonolatry". Necromantia are participating with a cover of "Death Rider", originally by Omen, which first appeared in the Covering Evil (12 Years Doing The Devil's Work) compilation in 2001. Rotting Christ's participation is marked with an exclusive cover of "Black Sabbath", originally by Black Sabbath, appearing for the very first time in the band's official discography.

The EP is limited to 500 copies, 400 copies on black vinyl and 100 copies on silver vinyl, including an exclusive t-shirt especially designed for this specific release, 50 copies with the logo of Necromantia and 50 copies with the logo of Rotting Christ. Pre-orders have just started at this location.
