Reunited Arizona thrashers Atrophy are continuing to work on new music for their third album, which will be their first since 1990's Violent By Nature. The band issued a statement on their Facebook page.

Latest update: "As of recently Atrophy has been very silent. The posts have all but dried up and our social media has run dry. For good reason.

"We are simply working on new music. Plain and simple. Violent By Nature probably won't be the final Atrophy album. We don't have any release dates, or very much additional information. Other than the fact that new songs do exist and we are working on making even more of them.

"We would also like to open up the door to promoters to book us. Please offer us some shows! We seriously want to play in your town, city, country, backyard, island, garage, house party (we would totally play a house party if you are willing to fly us out), etc etc. We would like to thank all the fans for your support. Each and every one of you deserves credit. We could not have done it without you.
