Heavy Pettin' - Bassist Steps Down

Heavy Pettin', a British heavy metal/hard rock outfit, announced that their bassist Jez Parry has decided to step down after 4 years (more can be read below). The search for the new bass player has begun.

The band comments: "So here we are, beginning a brand new year and it's time to officially announce that our bass player, Jez, has decided to hang-up his bass playing spurs and step back from front line playing with Heavy Pettin'.

"Jez is one of the best bass player musicians we have ever had the pleasure to work with and we will all miss him dreadfully, both musically as well as being part of our HP brotherhood. We are also absolutely certain that our wonderful fans will miss him performing with us too.

"Jez already knows this, but we want to take this opportunity to publicly thank him for playing such a fundamental role in helping re-establish HP over the past three plus years. Fortunately, we can treasure the many great memories, achievements and super fun experiences we all shared together. There's been some really great times.

"Jez is still our best buddy and we continue to have the good fortune of hanging out with him in various drinking establishments in town including our local watering hole which we fondly named, "The Office!"

"This now leads us on to the next chapter... If YOU are a ROCK BASS PLAYER; based in or around Milton Keynes, UK; who prefers to play with a pick; happy to sing backing vocals; who's available for international travel and who's already 'rock band ready' image conscious.... Please DIRECT MESSAGE us asap! Good times await."
