Saturnus - Ex-Bassist Rejoins Band
Danish doom metal band Saturnus has announced on their [url= http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=13772599&blogID=340715522]MySpace page[/url] that their bassist Lennart Jacobsen with whom they've recorded "Veronika Decides To Die" and toured the United States, Russia and parts of Europe has parted ways with the band. No reasons were disclosed for the departure, but according to the band there were no hard feelings involved and they wish him best of luck with his music in the future.
In other news, ex-bass player Brian Pomy Hansen with whom the band has recorded "Paradise Belongs To You", "For The Loveless Lonely Nights" and "Martyre" has rejoined the band. Biran was playing in the band Wizard of Doom with current vocalist Thomas, and when he was contacted by the band he agreed on rejoining.
The band is currently writing new material for the next album and has some European tour dates lined up for the spring of 2008.
