Great bm from the guys behind Ash Borer. Kinda like Skaphe but without the pyschedelic-y sound and riffing.

Sellsword - ...And Now We Ride Some old school metal mixed with power metal. Very enjoyable to listen to imo. Probably should change my favourite albums of 2016 list because this album would have definitely been in it, if I had listened to it in 2016.

King Woman - Created In The Image Of Suffering (2017) Not my thing. Very weak and non-metal sounding with female vocals. Ashenspire - Speak Not Of The Laudanum Quandary (2017) Stellar outstanding work in the lines of A Forest of Stars. Very emotional album. Lorn - Arrayed Claws (2017) This is really good dissonant and dark black metal. Definitely my thing. Turia - Dede Kondre (2017) This is bm album of the year material. Already ordered my tape. Clandestine Blaze - City Of Slaughter (2017) Kinda good but nothing too original or standout. Decent stuff. Vinnum Sabbathi - Gravity Works (2017) Instrumental Space stoner metal. As good as you imagine it can be. Very very groovy, stoner-y goodness. Rebirth Of Nefast - Tabernaculum (2017) Very long, very heavy, slow-paced, dark and even doom-y black metal from the Norma Evangelium Diaboli. Prefer the CD version over the tape version because it has awesome dark artwork by madman Mannuel Tinnemans himself. Must hear shit for all bm fans.

Satan's Hallow - Satan's Hallow Very enjoyable album imo. Iced Earth - Night Of The Stormrider What a big difference between the original recording and the reissue (I always had the reissue which I bought 2 years ago) and recently bought the original version of the album). Absolutely love the original recording, the reissue loses a lot of the atmosphere of the original.
