I have this account for... a long time, but I didn't use it for a long period...

Has anyone had trouble with yours for the past 3 days or so? Mine just refuses to work for some reason.

@Dream of hate: I had such problems a week or two ago, but in last three days everything works just fine.

Hmmm, odd. I really hate saying anything at the risk of sounding like I'm complaining. It stops working every now and then, and that's no problem. But for some reason it's just been either not working or barely working for the past few days.

@DoH - What days have you been having trouble with and is it just not scrobling saving to the ciche for you?

For me (and im not complaining), the actual website on the Monday is a little dodgy with it not showing what I've just recently listened to or takes forever to show anything, but thats because of the site doing its update chart things... not sure if thats whats happening to yours?

Do you guys ever delete your profiles and start over? I've been scrobbling for about 2 years (or so) and it's really interesting to see what I've listened to over that time but my current top 10 and top 25 artists are not indicative of what I listen to lately. Maybe it's time for a fresh start?

There is a way to just reset your stats and still use the same profile. I'll probably do that some day, but I've got awhile before I do that.

As Dream of Hate said, there's an option in the settings to clear your charts. But there is also an option to view rolling charts for the past year, 3 months or 6 months. I don't think I'll ever delete my profile or clear my charts, mostly for that reason.

Hey thanks for pointing that out! I guess I missed that post. Seeing my 3- and 6-month charts was really interesting! Yeah, I think I'll keep my profile intact now that I know about that viewing option. Thanks!

"Rolling" meaning that they are not dependent on calendar like the weekly charts are. So let's say your charts update right now. This means that for example the 3 month rolling chart will show your charts from a 3 month period that ends right now.

Couldn't figure out a better way to explain it so I hope you understood that, lol.

Hyvaarin, i don't think that she made such score just with playing songs all the time.
So, let's calculate:
1,117,527 songs
Registered: 30 Jun 2005
Last seen December 2005
That means she has scrobbled songs for about half of a year.
0,5 years~6 months~24 weeks~168 days~4032 hours~241920 minutes.
1,117,527 songs / 241920 minutes ~4.6
That means she listened about 4-5 songs in a minute!!!!!!! That means one song is about 12-15 seconds long.
What does it mean?

So maybe those charts are right. That girl just didn't log in but only listened to music...:)

I actually just did that, and for the reason you gave. So many of my top bands I haven't (/hadn't) listened to for ages.

I did it too, about a month ago. Things look a lot different now.

I am using last.fm to say hi to some historical Metalstormers who are still active there but not here anymore, like ZEdarkangel or _SpOO_.
