I have a tattoo from my right shoulder going down to just above the elbow line. Its a scarab with wings on my shoulder with 2 chains attached to its feet...and the chains are attached to a khartouche with my name in Hieroglyphics. I think its a nice tribute to my Egyptian heritage.

I think its EPIC!

Well, I cant speak Bulgarian nor Arabic, so cant help you with any words. Forgot to mention if you want to go for a more ancient looking Slavic writing you can check out Glagolitic writing, which I believe was also used in Bulgaria.

It took me a while to figure out what I actually wanted. I did a lot of internet research and combined that with a keychain my dad got me the last time he went to Egypt.

I'm think of doing a half sleeve on the same arm, by putting an Egyptian style background that goes well with what I already have. But again, I need to do a lot of research and see what might look good and what I would really want. Until I figure that out, I may just get another large tattoo on my left arm, something completely different and non-egyptian...but what, I have no idea haha.

It's a tribute to my Egyptian heritage. The 4 symbols/hieroglyphics in the cartouche spell out my first name. The scarab with wings is a well known Egyptian symbol (which in itself has meaning). I wanted to connect the cartouche with the scarab with wings...so I though chains would be cool.

The tattoo needs a bit of touch up. And it still needs a background (well it doesn't need one but I really want one).

Cor, it's been a while since I was last here I recently got a chest piece, of a Salvador Dali set piece, just redraw for tattooing. This is a work in progress, it's taken 3 1/2 hours so far, I have another 2 or so to go. Notice the yellow bruising...that was right the tattoo. It was literally like being hit in the chest by a truck the next day lol.

I love tattoos but I don't have any. I'm not sure how I'm gonna look like with it when I'm old. I will surely get one if Chris Garver is gonna tattoo me. I love how he did that Mark Ryden's 'tears of blood' tattoo.

Well it's serotonin, which is kind of meant to relate to a certain drug that I won't name but it can also be a somewhat hippy-ish reference to happiness (but mostly toward the other thing).

Haha sweet, thats awesome, I love ones with these hidden meanings, most people will think you're a scientist or you just like chemistry.

I love tattoo art, but for some reason I've never wanted to get it on my body, never thought it would suit me or my skin :/

Cheers, yeah figuring out something to get was hard. I'm not much into deep meanings so I wanted something that I at least had a connection to and something that was cool to look at but also a bit original and/or ambiguous. I haven't got tattoo fever and desperate to get loads more like a lot of people do.

Lucky bastard. ever since I got my 3d effect scorpion tattoo I was hooked. Now I am still stuck with an unfinished full back tattoo that I don't know when I'll be able to afford completing (only the body color is missing).

If you're really 15, I strongly reccomend you to stop and think about what having permanent ink to your flesh really implies. Hold your idea for a couple of years and see if you still feel the same way about your tats. That way you're sure not to regret it afterwards. That's what I did and now I don't regret any.

Agree, I know some dude with a couple of tattoos that used to say this (which I find very true):
"If you want a tattoo... Think about it for 2-3 years. If the idea is still as strong as it was 2-3 years ago (or even stronger). Only then you can get it done".
