Anyone else familiar with this Norwegian Black Metal band? Nebular Mystic was formed in 1999, and released a few demos, then their debut full-length album 'Necrotic' was released in 2005.

Although the music isn't exactly groundbreaking, it's rather enjoyable and well written, with a typically '90s Norse' sound. The songs generally shift from blast sections to catchy midtempo sections throughout.

It may seem kind of generic on the first couple of listens, but if you appreciate the style it really grows on you.

I've yet to hear a good band from norway since the second wave bands. It's always too generic, as you mentionned.

Well, Nebular Mystic haven't progressed beyond that certain style and sound, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The energy, songwriting and atmosphere of an album can be more important than originality, IMO. Like I said, at first I just thought "well I've heard this all before", but the album grew on me.

I just listen those songs and well it remainds me lil Cadaver new and old Cadaver and this band isnt my style of BM, I prefere others maybe because album cover atr like death metal and I hera something from death metal there
