Well you know I like Dido so I can only agree really as her and this are two of very few artists I like that centre around these styles
But yeah, Serial Experiments Lain is amazing. Wonderfully strange.
It was quite awkward for me to search for Boa and finding first a Korean artist. I was *this* close of blind-downloading some korean pop ahahahahaha. I thought the english was too good to be true hahahahahahaha.

Yeah it's a bloody nuisance trying to hunt down the right one at times. You have Boa, BoA and Bôa. Silly.
Aww come on, there's nothing wrong with the Korean pop star!
Nice stuff, though.
I honestly haven't checked her out. I was just writing about my wtf-moment. You gotta be confused when there are like 3 bands/artists called Boa or something.

"Hallelujah", originally by Leonard Cohen, but I recently discovered this young man (16 at the time I'm writing this, I believe) and his performance of the song is probably my favorite. I hope he will have a long and wonderful career. He's cover of "Empty Chairs At Empty Tables" from Les Mis is also only bested by Michael Ball's and that's saying something. Incredible young talent.
Sensational song form Ms Cyrus and a pretty damned good live performance too. With tracks as great as this one, I can't really find any reason to not like her at this point.
I've been re-discovering Katie Melua. I am addicted to this one, even if the tempo change in the middle is kind of unnatural. The use of that chorus chord progression to subvert the expectations of my ears has me amazed.
