It's strange how this sport doesn't have a topic yet. If there is one pls delete this one.

Largely influenced by doping cases, this sport has passed for a lot lately. Lance Armstrong is an icon of this sport but even him have a cloud of doubt around. Personally, I admire Contador and Cancellara, and historically Indurain and Virenque are my favourites. I never participated in competition, but I like to take some short rides with friends.

Do we have any metalstormers passionated by this sport? Any competition lover?

Anyone interested in Milan-San Remo, the first big cycling classic of the season?
No Italians who care about it? Flemish people?
Strange...
Anyway, Oscar "Oscarito" Freire won his 3rd time in San Remo in a sprint with Belgian Boonen and Italian Pettachi.
Not much more to say: it's a race over 290 km an in the end they sprint for victory, but now the season is really started!
Wednesday: Dwars Door Vlaanderen ("Crossing Flanders" if you want)
Saturday: E3-Prijs Vlaanderen (same thing more or less)
Sunday: Gent-Wevelgem (yes, from Gent to Wevelgem and highest quotation in pro-cycling)
I'll post the results here.
