I would like you to hear a songy I've written... First of all, I should appologize that it is in Bulgarian. We've recorded an English version, but I don't see us mixing it anytime soon. Anyway, the song was written for a particular occasion so hopefully you will excuse the fact that it is so happy and non-metal ther you go: http://yourkiller.hit.bg/SteepPoint - S Teb.mp3 I hope to hear as many opinions as possible, including negative ones. Enjoy!

It sounds ok I guess. I don't really like it, but I don't really like Punk in general. I also don't know anything about Punk, so my opinion isn't really valid. Plus, I don't understand a fuck of it, which doesn't add to the total either. But, it does sound good in some way. Hope this post makes more people post, so it contains at least any value.

the quality of the recording is fantastic.the song is quite good, although keyboards and punk don't mix that good usually overall i'd rate the song with a 7.5/8

hihik... well, I play the keyboards, so when I write stuff and than am in charge of recording it, i would usually have keyboards... otherwise I think that type of punk and keyboards should start mixing even more... otherwise I'm sure that it's not everybody's cup of tea here... i bet the "pop" thing in the topic tittle really scares people away i'm thinking of editing it out, but it's pointless, cause people still wouldn't like the song And i bet Bulgarian sux for you, sorry about that...

Actually even some Bulgarians cannot understand the lyrics completly even if they've heard the song a 1000 times... Which is something I dig, cause I don't like my lyrics that much... the trough is actually that lots of people admire the song for the lyrics, which for me is extreemly strange...

I liked it alot actually, Even if it was in Bulgarian. It remindedme of a Japanese punk Band Called "The Pillows" If anybodies heard of them. But I don't know If I'd call it punk, it definitlely has a punk Edge to it, but with the keyboard it Kinda reminds me of just a straight Rock song. But hey, I still enjoyed it.

Well it was written to be a punk song... it kind of evolved afterwards... still, I think the keyboards shouldn't be the only reason for it not to be punk... but yep, and the chorus is not too punky either...

Mixed int he last possible moment and mastered during the night before the morning we needed it ready... therefore there was no time to mix and master the English version the vocals for which were comeplitely recorded...

For what my opinion is worth I thought it was quite a good catchy song. I don't see anything wrong with having keyboards in a punk song - something a little different is good. Also the language doesn't really matter in my opinion - although if you want to make money I suppose you have to sing in English.

Here you usually spend money on making music, even the pop and comercial shit and I don't think this song is unique enough to make it outside the countrly so no money for us either way I just like the song to be in English more... It's purely based on my personal preferences, that's it

Ok here's my opinion: i don't like the song. Also, this is not punk rock. Back in my emo days i was an avid punk rock fan and i can still identify the genre. My question is: how can you go from "Death Expectation" to something like this?

17.11.2006 - 01:15 Written by Remus on 05.11.2006 at 14:06 10x for the opinion... anyway, I have no problem doing different things with different bands... should I? Metal is defenetly the music of my heart, but I don't see a problem with doing something like that for the sheer fun of it... + if s.o. is ready to pay for the studio while you record it, why now use the learingin opportunity and gain some expierience... I actually really enjoy creating music and sometimes the music I create is not only metal, but I still enjoy it... If I felt like it, I have no problem making even Dance or R'n'B... Btw, an interesting story with this song... one of those days I was at some bar and some dude payed that song and most of the bar (people I know, that's how they got exposed to the song before), started singing the lyrics loud and clear and juming all around and stuff... and as soon as they realized I'm there some girls came to sing me may song "in my face"... of course, no need to mention that they new the lyrics better than me it was a nice, despite being a bit corny... P.S.: The Demenzia album is out now, btw

17.11.2006 - 20:31 Written by marinBG on 17.11.2006 at 01:15 That's cool! I would get it but i doubt it's going on sale in South Africa... Anyway, about the whole genre thing, you're right! I write (metal) songs for my metal band but just the other day i made a kick ass rave song on Fruity Loops(hope not too many people read this ). But yeah, once in a while i need some "normal" music otherwise this Arch Enemy is gonna drive me insane! I understand what you mean.

20.11.2006 - 01:55 Written by Remus on 17.11.2006 at 20:31 yeap... it's what this song is basiclly... some other stuff I was able to do, besides main main metal things... and to pitch the new Demenzia album some more, you can also get it in South Afritca... just write an e-mail to info@demenzia-bg.com and we'll hook you up... the album won't be in stores anywhere but Bulgaria, but the actual cd wouldn't be expensive and you'll need to cover the postal expenses, which wouldn't be so big, so it's not so difficult after all.... Written by Guest on 19.11.2006 at 07:07 cause a metalstormer is getting feedback about his songwirtting from his fellow musician metalstormers... duh!? I don't think it's inaproptriate and obviously the poeple maintaining the board don't think it, so I don't see the problem... it there really a problem? and think it fits the musician board quite well...

Well... it's kind of mainstream... it's about overcoming difficulties and staying possitive and being together with a hypotethical s.o. and you can interpret it as friedship thing or as a love thing... it's something like that... but it's not writtten in the corniest possible way...

Hm pop punk kinda reminds me of my bands songs, but then again it's just a mocking name for them.. Anyway, not a bad song, the keys actually brought some originality and It's good that it's played on your native language, I'm getting tired on english.. The drums could sound better.

It's a really nice song. And the sound quality is great. I'll keep on my computer I think it sounds mainstream, but, no offense, I mean it in a positive way : catchy, joyful, entertaining. There are good things in mainstream (And I totaly agree with Carrion : you're bulgarian, write songs in bulgarian, it's cool ! I love English, but there's too much uniformity).

It sounds really ok but it doesn't sound like punk rock. It reminds me oldschool Italian pop (sorry if you are disappointed). And language sounds for me a bit like Italian (maybe that's because i'm not a big language specialist).
