I'm not interested in Overkill, artillery, kreator, testament or destruction... Like I said, mi interest in thrash is close to zero, this is oddly enough better than those bands to me.

Well there lies the purpose for bands like this to exist: to get non-thrash fans (I don't mean that as an insult by the way) into thrash, and I suppose to further entice thrash fans into keeping up with the scene, but these new bands just don't appeal to my tastes at all.

Either way, just look at the overall rating. Obviously I'm part of a minority here.

Great album indeed. but i'll give it an 8.5 instead of a straight 10 due to the fact that it's not THAT awesome

Unfortunately it's going to keep happening because, as opposed to rating an album based on how good it actually is, a good amount of voters just want their favorite albums to win, so they zero whatever is in first place. It's the reason everything is so low all of a sudden and it's ridiculous.

Gave it a try, indeed, a nice album, but the best album of 2011? I don't think so.
Strongly recommended for Metallica fans.

Indeed, a rating of 1 would mean it's one of the worst albums you have ever heard in your whole life, I don't think there would be more than 5 albums on this site worth a 1 rating.

Great New Thrash record. Though tracks 08 and 09 are kind of fillers, the rest is badass.

You captured my opinion exactly. No feeling of ownage on those tracks, but the rest is pristine.

Really great thrash metal album. One of the best I' ve heard lately from all that new thrash bands. Gave me good memories back.

You can perfectly put rating's 1, like the same way you put 10, it is pefectly reasonable. The problem is when you see a guy of this kind:

In this case he is visualizing his way of thinking, his stupidity (it is only one of the more painful examples, you know exists more example's types like this), but really there are more people like this, that doesn't visualize his thinking, so you can't prove it -> people that apparently seeing their collection, lists, favorites bands, etc, has similar tastes, in this case for example with thrash metal, and still he votes with rating 1 (my god, put rating 3 at least haha), well, even no problem, it can be... until you see that his favorite album of the year is, ta chan!, number 1 in the MetalStorm top 20 of the year haha.


Well, in my opinion one of the keys of this album is its perfect sound that they have been able to get, simply awesome. Being an album of pure thrash metal that at first glance it may seem to someone too dense, it is not true, each song is able to show its own personality, and this is another of the keys. And i'm not going to speak about their technique, musical composition, well, yes haha, in my opinion they are very good! By the way the drummer is , also i love the voice with this little touch of black (at least to my ears).
Conclusion, really a surprise for me to see such great thrash metal album for this year, a perfect example.

Well, heres a fun story... i cam accross these guys and this release online and upon first listen knew i was listening to something great......a few weeks go by, Time is Up has marinated and im still spinning it a few times a week when i realize Havok is touring in my home city, Denver! great! After they set up and play one song, the front man spits out "Hey, were Havok from Denver, CO." ........what? theyre local? Im retarded.

This album doesn't always capture my attention like I want it to. T^T
