Though HN is among the top 5 albums by them for me, I think the approach has been exhaustively explored and they should do something completely different on this one. We'll see.

They should bring Tarja back! Yeah that is not possible, then let Floor sing like Tarja.

Despite them getting number 1 and 2 chart positions in several countries with their last album, it only sold 7200 copies in the US, against 60.000 from Endless Forms. But it was still a fairly successful album among the fans. So i doubt they'll change much.
Musically i think they got their peak with Century Child and Once. After that all albums are pretty much rehashed over polished versions of those two.
I'm always curious about their albums, so we'll see where they go to next.

Century Child is still their best one, yeah, with Oceanborn not far behind. Once is excellent too, but it was also sort of on that one that this overdone soundtrack metal started creeping in. Dark Passion Play is great, but since that one, their albums have been very uneven. This band got me started listening to metal, so I'm always curious too. I'd honestly be fine with them going basically anywhere as long as it's less boring than their latest one...

Wonder how they'll replace Marko - a bassist/vocalist of his calibre could be hard to find. They had Jukka Koskinen on live bass, so maybe he'll stick around for the album too, I don't think he did any vocal parts though? Troy is an okay singer, but he couldn't possibly replace Marko on full duty...
