I misread "undiscovered pants"

And I misread "The Germs", that L.A. punk band.

I'm curious about this band's profile being visible when it's not metal. Meanwhile, other band's profiles (like Long Distance Calling)are invisible because it "doesn't entirely fit MS format". What determines this?

This is hard rock just like Thundermother is so there's nothing strange with them, or any other band listed as hard rock, being visible. Why Long Distance Calling is invisible I cannot answer to because I'm not responsible for the database but it might be that their profile is not complete rather than them not being metal enough.

I had asked a MS staff this years ago re: LDC. They said that the band wasn't considered metal. Their profile is quite rounded. Thanks for the reply

We do allow 'Hard rock' to be visible, unlike Alternative, Post and some Progressive rock.
There can be some reasons:
1. Since most of the hard rock pioneers are also visible (Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Scorpions, Guns N' Roses, Uriah Heep, Alice Cooper etc.)
2. The Gems is visible becasue Thundermother is visible (musicians related).
3. Big label (Napalm Records)
4. ...And apparently if the girls are related to the database guy.... o.0

Funny coincidence: I didn't know two of them used to be in Thundermother when I used them as an example.
